  Привет! Меня зовут Лена, мне 46 и я живу в Грузии с 2014 года. На данный момент со мной живут больше 40 собак и 20 кошек, большинство из которых были подобраны с улицы. Я ищу волонтера, любящего животных и готового помогать мне за ними ухаживать.
  
  Бездомным собакам в Грузии нужна помощь. Почти никто не покормит чужую собаку, которая прибрела неизвестно откуда. Потерявшиеся и рожденные на улице псы сбиваются в стайки около заправок, кафе, просто около трассы. Там есть возможность получить кусок хлеба у проезжающих людей.
  
  В Грузии многие люди занимаются спасением животных, но пока рук и сил не хватает. По дорогам страны бродят калеки и скелеты. Они выходят к людям и ждут помощи. Чувство, которое я испытываю, глядя на этих истощенных и растерянных существ — жгучий стыд.
  
  Мы зарегистрировали некоммерческую организацию и не без помощи неравнодушных людей внесли залог за дом в часе езды от Тбилиси — теперь это база Собачьей скорой помощи. Это крайний участок в дачной местности, за домом поля и дали. Здесь есть вода и электричество, а также место для волонтёров, где они могут работать и жить. У нас уже есть соратники, жертвователи, потенциальные волонтеры, но новые животные появляются постоянно, и лишние руки нам не помешают.

  I’m Lena, 46 years old, and I live in Georgia from 2014. Currently I live in a big house 1 hour away from Tbilisi with more than 40 dogs and 20 cats, and most of them were adopted from the street. I'm looking for animal lover who can help me to take care of them all.
  
  Homeless dogs in Georgia need help. Unfortunately, in the rural areas, no one really cares about the unknown mongrels coming from nowhere. Lost or street-born dogs wander around the gas stations, cafes, roads – everywhere with a hope for a piece of bread from the people passing by.
  
  Many volunteers rescue homeless animals in Georgia, but there is still a lot of work to do. Sometimes in Tbilisi or Batumi, you meet quite spick and span mongrels with yellow plastic tags on the ears (sterilized and chipped), while in rural areas you more likely meet walking skeletons and injured creatures. They approach people and seek for help because that’s in the dog’s nature – to be a friend of a human. When I look at them I feel ashamed of being a human.
  
  We are registered a non-profit organization and with a help from people around the world made a deposit for the house in 1 hour away from Tbilisi — now this is dog’s ambulance's venue. It’s at the edge of the village, with water and electricity supply. The house, where volunteers can come, work and live. We already have people who are willing to come and help us, but new animals are showing up constantly, so we often need extra help.

  * Учтите, что дом находится в отдаленной местности: до Тбилиси недалеко, но дорога довольно трудная и занимает почти час. Будет довольно проблематично уезжать чаще, чем раз в 7-10 дней.   Прежде всего нам требуется помощь с собаками. Всем им нужны внимание, забота и любовь, а также их все время нужно кормить и хотя бы иногда отвлекать от разрушения дома. Разнимать собачьи драки, внимательно следить за настроением и здоровьем животных, убирать отходы их жизнедеятельности, чтобы по территории было комфортно ходить не только животным, но и людям.
  
  Также нужно помогать носить огромные мешки с кормом, поить животных — каждый день вытаскивать во двор шланг 100-150 литров воды. Топить печь дровами. Следить за системой водоснабжения и вовремя наполнять резервуар водой. В общем, очень нужен стойкий человек, не представляющий жизни без животных, не страдающий аллергией и не боящийся быть облизанным, покусанным и испачканным.
  
  Дом перманентно находится на стадии ремонта, так что навыки в строительстве приветствуются, но не обязательны. А вот помощь с уборкой всегда будет кстати.

  Дом находится на границе регионов Мцхета-Мтианети и Квемо Картли. Безлюдная местность, гора, поля и холмы — полное уединение, не считая наших животных. С крыльца открывается вид на дали. Магазинов рядом нет, но мы не голодаем, закупаемся стабильно и надолго.
  
  Для волонтёров в доме есть отдельная комната с двухъярусной кроватью на первом этаже. Когда мой сын уезжает, а это бывает довольно часто, можно будет занять его комнату с двойной кроватью. Удобства (туалет и душ с горячей водой) находятся в доме. У нас есть кухня, где можно готовить всё что угодно. Продукты предоставляю, как и мобильный интернет (будем шарить).

  The house is located on the border of Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli regions. Uninhabited terrain, mountains, fields and hills — complete seclusion, not counting our animals. The porch offers a view of the distance. There are no shops nearby, but we are not hungry, we buy steadily and for a long time.
  
  There is a separate room with a bunk bed for volunteers. When my son leaves, what happens quite often, it will be possible to occupy his room with a double bed. The toilet and hot shower inside the house. We also have a kitchen where you can cook anything. I provide products, as do the mobile Internet (we will share).

  Свободное время гибкое, всё обсуждается. Дом находится в 15 км от Тбилиси, дорога до города занимает час из-за крутых подъёмов (высота над уровнем моря 1250 м). Примерно раз в неделю мы ездим в город, для чего вызываем машину, но если волонтёрам нужно куда-то поехать, то мы можем вызвать машину для них. Также есть автостоп и такси, которое в Грузии стоит недорого.

  Your days off are flexible, like everything in our place. Georgia is amazing country to travel in, you just have to decide where to start from. I live 1 hour away from Tbilisi, where you can spend impressive time wandering around, Mtskheta isn't far away as well. Around 1 time per week we are calling a car to go to the city, rest of the time you can use hitchhicke or taxi (not expensive in Georgia), or if you need, we call a car for you.
