I worked for Lisa and Stephan for 2 weeks. Lisa picked me up from the train station with the children. They live in a lovely large house on the edge of the Thiesee village. I had my own apartment. The children are Mathilda, Benedikt and Maximillian the baby are delightful. They are very well behaved children. My main occupation was caring for the
… read more children. I also cleaned. Nothing was a problem. I was included in their family life. There was plenty of food and a great coffee machine. There is a lovely lake nearby which is very warm. The next town is lovely. It has a huge castle with a museum inside and has art exhibitions outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Austria. I miss them, especially the children. I hope we catch up again in the future. Thanks Lisa and Stephan for hosting me.All the best for your future workaways. Kate from New Zealand stayed with us for about two weeks at the end of August, and we couldn’t have asked for a better Workawayer. Kate was never shy about engaging with us and always brought good energy and entertainment into our daily lives. She supported us diligently with our daily work, took on cleaning tasks in the house, and reliably cared for our animals. Everything she took on was done thoroughly and with great commitment. She also left her room tidy and clean.
We were completely satisfied and are very grateful to Kate for her help and positive energy. We wish her all the best for her future travels and hope she will experience many more wonderful adventures!

… read more Eigeninitiative aus und hat stets mitgedacht. Ihre Hauptaufgabe war die Betreuung unserer Kinder ( 7, 2 Jahre, 9 Monate) - mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit hat sie alle 3 Kinder bestens betreut und sogar das Baby mit Einfühlungsvermögen und Geduld zum Schlafen gebracht.
Die Zeit mit ihr war für die Kinder ein echtes Highlight: Sie haben Laternen für den Martinsumzug gebastelt, neue kreative Dinge ausprobiert, viel gezeichnet, beim Vorlesen viel Spaß gehabt und Girlanden schmücken seither unser Haus. Hannah hatte immer tolle Ideen, wie sie die Kinder sinnvoll und liebevoll beschäftigen konnte, sei es beim Basteln, auf dem Spielplatz oder bei gemeinsamen Spaziergängen. Ein Beispiel, von dem die Kinder noch heute erzählen: Hannah hat einen Kinoabend Zuhause organisiert. Die Kinder bekamen gebastelte Tickets, konnten sich von der Snackkarte was bestellen und durften nach dem Einlass den Kinosaal betreten.
Auch im Haushalt war sie eine große Hilfe und hat selbstverständlich mit angepackt. Sie ist ein sehr aufgeschlossener, offener und freundlicher Mensch, der schnell eine Verbindung zu unserer Familie und auch zu unseren Gästen gefunden hat. Von allen Seiten hat man uns zu unserer Workawayerin gratuliert, was für ein tolles Mädl wir da bekommen haben 😀😃🙂
Wir vermissen Hannah sehr und sind dankbar für diese wunderbare Workaway-Erfahrung. Sie war eine Bereicherung für uns, und wir können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen - sie ist ein Gewinn für jede Familie!

English Version:
Hannah was with us from the beginning of October until mid-December and enriched our family in an incredibly positive way. Our three children took her to their hearts from the very first moment – and so did we.
Hannah inspired and repeatedly surprised us. She is characterized by hard work, ambition, and initiative, always thinking ahead. Her main responsibility was taking care of our children (7 years, 2 years, and 9 months old) – and she did so effortlessly, providing excellent care for all three, even soothing the baby to sleep with empathy and patience.
The time spent with her was a true highlight for the children: They made lanterns for the St. Martin’s parade, tried out new creative activities, did a lot of drawing, enjoyed reading together, and decorated the house with garlands. Hannah always had wonderful ideas on how to keep the children meaningfully and lovingly engaged, whether it was crafting, playing at the playground, or going on shared walks. One example the children still talk about today: Hannah organized a movie night at home. The children received handmade tickets, ordered snacks from a menu, and were allowed to enter the "cinema room" after being checked in.
She was also a great help around the house and willingly pitched in wherever needed. Hannah is an open-minded, outgoing, and friendly person who quickly bonded with our family and even our guests. We received compliments from all sides about what an amazing girl we had as our Workawayer 😀😃🙂.
We miss Hannah dearly and are incredibly grateful for this wonderful Workaway experience. She was a true blessing to us, and we can wholeheartedly recommend her – she would be an asset to any family!

I've stayed at Lisa & Stefan's home for a bit more than 2 month and really had the best time! Both of them are very open, friendly and communicative people, who welcomed me very warm. Also the kids were super open and absolutly not shy, what made it really easy for me in the beginning.
The family has a beautiful big house in which I had my own
… read more appartement. This was perfect when I needed a bit privacy or "alone time" on my free days. The nature and mountains around the house and the village are very worth seeing and I loved going outside for a walk or strolling through the city which is just 15min away. The family gave me everything I needed and even more. Especially they are really good at cooking, both of the parents!! The kids are easy to handle (most times ;)) and impossible not to love. The daily tasks I had to do, were never too much and not to less, we planned it all together and I was included in most of the decisions. I never thought, I would have such a great time and that we would get along sooo well. I will miss them very much and can really recommend them, if you are looking for a lovely family to stay <3Comentarios
