Welcome to our small beach tree house hostel located on Koh Lanta in Southern Thailand! We have been close over the wet season and now it’s getting close to re opening again. Whoop Whoop!
We're built like a driftwood style, creating a rustic but cozy environment. Only 80 meters from an awesome swimming beach surrounded by jungle. Our hostel is not fancy! But we are famous for our warm inviting atmosphere- everybody is treated like family and feels right at home immediately. The majority of our structure is made up of driftwood found right here at the beach. Staying with us will be a unique experience that inspires great photos and stories to bring back to friends.
There're lots of fun places to explore on and around the island too! Beautiful jungles, waterfalls and beaches, and a variety of nightlife options everyday of the week. This is a GREAT place to meet amazing backpackers from all over the world. Make lifelong friends and memories everyday! Our location is prime- awesome beach, in-house tattoo shop, minimarts and Thai food opposite, fruit shakes, massages, restaurants, shopping, live music, beach bars, frisbee, all while your living in a here!
We are looking for out going volunteers who are not afraid to put some hard work in. We work hard but play way harder!

We are only accepting applications for November/Demember
Come November the rainy season will be ending and this is the time the island fixes and repairs the damage that Mother Nature caused to our little beach tree house over the last few months. We completely closed down the hostel at the end of last season so we need help setting it up again and making it look better than ever for our opening in mid November to beginning of December! These jobs include setting up dorms with beds, nets and fans etc. abit of gardening, bits of construction, new paintings and artwork in places. It is a great time of the season. We are like one big family of backpackers creating the perfect space for backpackers!

Schedules can be very flexible and are planned out week by week, but once a schedule is decided, it is important that you honer your part in it and don't carelessly stroll in the door 30 minutes after you were meant to start.

A dormitory style bed with mosquito net and fan. it is very basic! Not for princesses but it's safe! You will also have full access to our kitchen if you'd like to buy additional food to cook as well as secured storage for valuable personal items.
Lanta is a great island with lots to do, but still has that undeveloped small town feel. It's cheaper than Phuket or PhiPhi, but still has island prices on a lot of things. Luckily our immediate area is lively enough that you can easily exist VERY cheaply and still enjoy yourself and join in on a lot of fun stuff. We're not a party hostel, but sometimes we do throw bucket parties if it's called for. We have a social bar atmosphere, but try to keep it a kinda fun lounge style where people can talk and play table games instead of a club/dance party scene. Our customers are often young- early twenties, backpacking Southeast Asia on their world trip- but we also get a fair share of worldly professionals and even families that come through :)
A lot of volunteers often spend their evening with us in the common area- the staff pricing makes it cheap to drink here and they've usually made friends with a bunch of guests anyway. You can grab a snorkel mask at night and go check out the sparkly glowing plankton at night. We can also help you get a deal on a longer term motorbike rental at a nice discount- or you're welcome to use one of our bicycles whenever you want.
