We are a retired couple still in good health living outside of a community. We have a small farm( only 11 acres now) but a big garden and 300 chickens

Learn how to recognize bad weeds from good, vegetables and the flowers we have. Learn how to cook organic food from the garden. We also have a lot of birds in the garden and it s always a pleasure to share our knowledge about wildlife around. We take volunteers for a day trip in Keno and explain everything we know about the fabulous story of the city.

help is required in the garden pulling weeds , picking wild berries when ready. moving fences around ,building fence small building projects. Help is also required in preparing vegetables for farmers markets.

You will have your own volunteer house in our property.
no drugs, no smoking people.
We have a wonderful river near the farm and you will probably enjoy a canoe trip we the weather is good enough. Climb the mountain we have and visit the museums in Keno and Mayo. If it s the good period, you may be enjoy the farmers market (once a month).
