We live in Co. Tipperary, we are based in the quiet countryside approx 16km away from Thurles. Our home is a spacious four-bedroom house surrounded by peaceful countryside. If you enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and spending time with animals, this could be the perfect Workaway for you.

Staying with us offers the chance to experience everyday life in the beautiful Irish countryside. Our home is in rural County Tipperary, just 20 minutes from Thurles and 25 minutes from Cashel, making it a peaceful base while still being close to local towns and attractions.
You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the tranquillity of country living, explore scenic walks and cycle routes, and visit nearby towns with their cafés, shops, and traditional Irish pubs. The famous Rock of Cashel and other historic sites are within easy reach, giving you a chance to discover Ireland's rich history and heritage.
We enjoy meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds and love hearing about their experiences and way of life. In return, we're happy to share what it's like to live in rural Ireland, recommend places to visit, and help you make the most of your stay. -

We would like someone to take care our animals while we are away. Our animals are easy to care for and are an important part of our family. We have:
Cats
Chickens
Ducks
The daily routine involves feeding the animals, making sure they have fresh water, collecting eggs from the chickens when available, and giving the cats plenty of attention and affection. The poultry are free-ranging during the day and are settled safely each evening.
We'll leave clear instructions, and we're always available if you have any questions during your stay. -

We offer a large, comfortable double bedroom in our spacious four-bedroom home. The room is bright, quiet, and provides plenty of space to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring the area or caring for the animals.
You'll have access to the shared bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas, Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities. We want you to feel at home during your stay and enjoy all the comforts of our house. -

An important note for potential Workawayers: as we live in the countryside, having access to a car is essential. Public transport links are not available in our area, so we recommend that visitors arrange to rent a car for the duration of their stay.
Having a car will allow you to fully enjoy the freedom of exploring County Tipperary, visiting nearby towns such as Thurles and Cashel, and making the most of the beautiful countryside and local attractions. -
