We have two amazing dogs named Creature and Mellow, and two awesome cats name Nova and Homie.

Mathew is a musician and spends most of his time working on businesses online (graphic design, website development, social media etc). He loves to cook and is always experimenting with new dishes. He also makes videos, ads, and many other things.

Leni loves creating things from scratch. She will always have some sort of craft or art project on the go such as painting, making incense, paper making, refinishing furniture, soap making, etc. She is originally from Morden but moved to Victoria, BC where we met and fell in love.

We are currently opening a thrift shop where we sell everything in the store for $5 and under no matter what so that takes a lot of our time for now.

For the most part, we love to chill with the animals, go for walks twice a day with the dogs, cook family meals, experiment with new foods, and watch our favourite shows to wind down at the end of the day.

We live in a 130 year-old heritage home in Morden, Manitoba and there is a suite above our two car garage that we would like to offer travelers. It has a half bathroom, loveseat, and plenty of space for any hobbies you have.

We want to give travelers the opportunity to experience life in a small town in southern Manitoba. Everything is within walking distance, although it does tend to get very cold in the winter (-40℃ sometimes) so you'll need to dress warm!

The help we are after is with simple house chores, cooking meals, and taking care of our 4 animals.

We have two dogs and two cats, all of them are super cuddly and very loving.

Help around the house will include:

    • Daily household chores (sweep, vacuum if needed, dusting, general tidy, dishes, etc.)
    • Once a week there will be a deep clean of bathrooms, common areas, and washing the hardwood floors
    • Cooking one meal a day
    • General help around the house
    • Watching the animals when we are at work (we operate a $5 thrift shop in town)

We also have arts, crafts and creative projects on the go all the time. Participation is not a requirement but you're always more than welcome to join!

    Some of the projects are:

    • Painting
    • Incense making
    • Video game development (if you're into that kind of thing, lol)
    • Repurposing fabrics
