Hi there,
My name is Sylvia and my husband’s name is Greg. We have 2 children Quinn (13) and Mika (11). We live on a beautiful 1.5 acre, semi-rural property which is 20 mins drive from Tauranga and 5 mins drive into the local village of Omokoroa.
Having you own car would be advisable as there is no public transport from our house.
Our property overlooks a river and ponds and is very quiet, lush and green with lots of birdlife.
We are needing help around the house and would prefer a couple if possible but not essential.☺️

My husband and I are both originally from New Zealand and we have both travelled extensively so we understand travellers well.
We really look forward to having some interesting conversations with foreign nationals about their lives and where they have been and what they have seen. We miss travelling very much as havent really done much since having children!

We would love some general help around our property/house doing gardening, painting, cleaning, tidying etc. We are painting the inside and outside of our house as well as tidying up the gardens ready for summer.

We have a lovely tidy caravan which we will set up in the garden under some trees which is a beautiful place to be in the summer.
The caravan has one Queen size bed and one large single bed and a kitchen. The bathroom and toilet are inside the house but access is easy. We will proved good quality clean bedding and towels etc.
We will provide you with food. We would love you to join us for a family dinner at the table every night, although we are a very busy family so this doesn’t always happen. Part of your help might be sometimes preparing our dinner if you would like to do so. Breakfast and lunch may sometimes be with us or help yourself.

It will be necessary to have a car while you are here as there is no reliable public transport as we live in the country.
There are many beautiful waterholes and bushwalks close by as well as beaches and waterfalls.
Mount Maunganui beach is 30 mins drive away which is very well known surf beach.
We also have a small boat which we love to take out for wake boarding and water skiing if you are keen.
