We have a small family 5 acre farm in beautiful Lake Country.
Our farm not only grows 12,000 garlic, we hatch and raise heritage breed chickens and turkeys.
Our vegetable gardens are full of fresh produce such as strawberries, salad greens, peas, beans, tomatoes and much more. We raise beef cows, pigs, ducks, and have pet Yaks.
Working on our farm consists of animal feeding and watering, gardening, weeding, and sometimes special projects to improve our farm. These projects could be tree planting or building picnic tables or assembling chicken houses.
We are backed onto the new Okanagan Rail Trail which is wonderful bike riding and walking trail along the shores of Wood Lake and through lake front wilderness and nature.
Next to the family beach for swimming and boating.
Near the transit bus route that will take you directly to the City of Kelowna and the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus.

Lake Country and the Okanagan Valley offer many experiences for travellers.
There are numerous orchards and fruit sales, wineries and tourist amenities including a local museum.
There is a Kangaroo farm and petting zoo in our small town, a marina, pubs, restaurants, and a 15 minute trip to the larger City of Kelowna.
The City of Kelowna offers all types of tourist activities. Kelowna also has many restaurants, night clubs and a casino.
The new Okanagan Rail Trail for cycling and walking runs from the Okanagan Lake shore line in Kelowna through the city and countryside. The Rail Trail passes through farm lands and along multiple lakes then passes behind and continues north up to Vernon.
The City of Vernon to the north is smaller than Kelowna but still offers all amenities.
The City of Vernon is the site of the Vernon Military camp, where each summer hosts many 100's of young Army, Air and Sea Cadets from accross Canada and abroad, doing their basic training and leadership programs.
The entire Okanagan Valley has a rich history of Indigenous peoples, military, ranching, farming and orchards.
The Okanagan Valley is also home to many cultures that came to this area as settlers and ranchers, and even modern day orchardists.
