Descripción
Hi! We are an italian family of seven: Virginie (52), Massimo (52), Tommaso (22), Alice (21), Asia (19), Mattia (17) and Sofia (13).
We have lived seven years in Brazil (where we have already welcomed many volunteers) and have returned eight years ago in Europe. We have traveled and lived one year in a camper. We have lived for a period in Sillé le Guillaume (France).
Tommaso and Alice don't live with us anymore.
We have recently returned to Italy and live in Prasco. We also have a piece of land 10 km from here with a vineyard, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and a wooden house that we are fixing up. Our project is to be as autonomous as possible. We cultivate and live as much as possible in harmony with nature.
Our children are unschooled, they are fluent in Italian, Portuguese and French.
We are looking for volunteers who want want to help us in the gardens.

At this moment we have no room in the house so we will host the volunteers in tents with the use of the bathroom in the house We hope to finish the wooden house soon to be able to host the volunteers there. The place is really beautiful.

We are 50 km from Genova, we are very well connected by train. We are in a very quiet village in the beautiful region of Piemonte, full of nature.
We really like to meet new people and exchange experiences. Our cooking is divided between Italian, Belgian and Brazilian food. We eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, vegetarians and vegans are welcome. We eat local and seasonal food, also produced by us, we make our cheese, our sourdough bread ... we like to eat as naturally as possible. we also live as naturally as possible, we buy a lot of second-hand (clothes, toys) or in barter fairs.

There is one big risk to anyone that comes to this host: to seriously fall in love! What an incredible workaway host. One of the best we have ever stayed at. We've learned so many things with this family that is like impossible to put all in words! They are really special, and if you are thinking to go to their place, don't think twice, just go.… read more We had so much fun together, not only at their house but also in the short trips together: we could see lakes, forests, nice photo expositions, adventures in their campervan. We arrived to stay 3 weeks and we stayed about 3 months. It was truly difficult to leave! This unique family is open minded and totally worth to spend some time with. Let's try to describe each one of them in few words just to give you an idea: Massimo, the super dad, owner of an incredible generosity. He is very funny and full of stories, always ready to share his knowledge, inspired us to understand more the world. You can easily talk with him for hours without notice. Highlights for his energy and for the work on the biological veggie garden who feeds everybody around. Virginie makes the most delicious and healthy food in Italy, she is really talented cook. She is a very sweet mother, with the biggest heart ever. Always teaching new things to us and to her children, very patient and lovely with everybody, we learned a lot from her. We’re gonna miss her presence in our everyday life. Tommaso (15 years old) is smart, very quick learner and talented. Always helpful, it's impossible to name all his abilities. His passion for photography, magic and sports made us really near him and our admiration only grew day by day. We had so many good moments together, we will always remember and miss his friendship. Alice (13 years old) is like the second mother of the family. Responsible, patient, and super talented girl. She has a very sweet heart and is very skilled with her hands by crafting amazing bijoux and little "toys" in polymer clay (Fimo). She is always ready to help anyone who needs her. Sometimes she was also cooking very tasty dishes. Asia (11 years old) is a very energetic girl, full of life! From the morning to night, she was there to give us a hand in whatever we requested, and happy to join any activity with us. She likes a lot cooking and will impress anyone with her delicious recipes. Also we could teach her how to play guitar, some magic tricks and photography. Mattia (9 years old) is a very creative child. A little bit shy at the beginning, but very funny after some time, he is always trying to build new things from old toys with his robotic knowledge, and he likes to help around. His level of energy is incredible! Specialist in running, jumping, climbing trees and discovering new places for adventures. Sofia (6 years old) is the cutest girl ever. We had so much fun with her. Her eyes speaks by itself. She gave us so much love. She is able to speak Italian and Portuguese in a very impressive way for her age. She loves to drawing and also to paint. It was never a problem to stay with her and she was happy easily with any activities we proposed. In this host you can learn a lot about real life and real love! Thank you all for being part of our life and having us in your family for a while! We love you all and for sure we’ll come back always we can and we hope to travel together in the future!

Recomendamos muitíssimo Mich como voluntário. Ele passou aqui 20 dias, foi uma grande ajuda nos trabalhos no terreno, ele é muito tranquilo e sabe fazer muitas coisas, tem paciência também com crianças e é muito bom conversar com ele.
