  We are a family of four ( English / Swedish ) with 2 kids, 12 and 10 along with our small, old dog. We live in a small, friendly, village in the Swiss Alps, close to Verbier, near the border or Italy and France. We are offering someone with DIY skills to experience the beautiful mountains and activities on offer in return being an extra pair of hands helping with some DIY projects, mainly laying down some new flooring ( my wife and the kids are out of the house for a few weeks). There will be plenty of time to go on hikes, explore the area, go biking etc...

  We are inviting someone to come and experience life a small village in the Swiss Alps in return for assisting us with some things around the house, mainly helping place some new flooring. Ideally suited for a person who has practical, manual skills and good with tools.

  Your own bedroom and private use of a bathroom. We have a nice open plan, kitchen living room area. We will make sure the fridge is full and dinner cooked in the evening or a BBQ. If you like cheese, then you can try the local raclette and fondue. If veggies are more your thing, there is plenty of delicious local produce in the region to try.

  Lots to do in the area, mountain biking, hiking, trips over to France / Italy ( both only an hour away). We live in a small village, but Verbier is very close by with many events and interesting things to do during the summer months. There is a small train station a 10 minute walk away that connects you to the surrounding area, along with the use of a bike.
