  Hello, we are the family of, 16 acres of farm, in a beautiful village of Purkhali, Punjab. Our organisation was born in 1996, with a mission of practising permaculture and building homes for nature lovers. All we are focusing on is to build the place of self sustaining forest, spiritual environment for the seekers, creativity zone for the learners and helping to live with wildlife, to be an harmonise creatures.

  You can learn about the world of organic farming, beauty of forestation, generous local culture and life style. You can also learn from the local artisans crafts like pottery, spinning, jaggery making. One could also interact with local schools to teach the children extra activities. I would love to learn how to bake different kinds of bread. have a small wood fired oven on the farm. There are no end to the possibilities. One just has to explore!

  We are looking for traveller, who is interested in helping us building our farm as Green home for explorer, a centre of learning arts and creativity, an sustainable permaculture and in building an spiritual ambience. We are particularly interested in Water Conservation and water harvesting. basically looking for folks interested in working on sustainability and organic farming.

  Alojamiento

  We have two kind of accommodation,
  1. Tent house - Two tent house, with attached bathroom. Each is located in middle of forest and water bodies near by.
  2. Farm House - Attached bathroom and equipped with all necessaries.
  
  Volunteers will be provided vegetarian meals and healthy organic fooding.
  We provide clean well kept accommodation and simple vegetarian food.

  In the off time, volunteers can explore nearby villages, go on hiking to hills, can go to school to meets village minds. There are also Historical sites and bird watching sites on the river Sutlej, the Sutlej wetlands are a mere 8Km away.

  since its a 16 Acre farm, we have plenty of space to park. Also their is 2.75 Acres of forest where the Campervans /motorhomes can be parked.
