Hello!
We are two friends - Krystina and Mary, who decided to finish a project of my dad who passed away a few years ago and left behind two incomplete houses. As for now, we focus on finishing one of the houses, where the main goal for this year is to finish outdoor work and garden.
The houses are in a village called Brozany nad Ohri, 50 km from Prague.
We both love to travel and both of us used to live a few years in different parts of the world. We like to share our experiences and habits with the international community.
We will be happy to show you around Brozany and also Prague, which we have lived in for a long time, and share moments together.)

You can get to know how life goes in an ordinary Czech village in a countryside. We do our best to live and construct in a way that is gentle with nature and use recycled materials. You can learn how to decrease the use of chemicals in daily living, use organic waste in the garden. I will be happy to share my yoga and meditation practice with you and Mary likes to sing. Both of us like to dance and we have some instruments we play, so we can also do this together. There are beautiful natural parks half an hour drive away and cozy towns with rich cultural history nearby (Litomerice, Prague), that you can visit.

We are building a house. There are two incomplete house construction sites with gardens. At the current phase, we focus on finishing of one of the houses. The kind of work differs, but it is mainly related to construction and garden caretaking. It would be great if you had experience with construction, but do not worry if you do not. The specialised work is done by professionals and we would do mainly gardening. So it can be an opportunity to learn something new.
Everything is on mutual agreement. Good communication is a base for healthy relationships so we are open to your wishes and ideas.
We both work during a week so we are working on the house only at the WEEKENDS. We can accomodate you also during the working days, but you would have to be on your own and count on yourself. Then at the weekend we would work, eat and spend time together. Mary works mainly remotely and does not have to commute often to Prague, on average once per week and she always leaves in the morning and comes back at night. Krystina lives in Prague during the working days.
We appreciate an individual, couple, or family, that could also work independently. The estimated workload is 25 hours a week/16 hours a weekend.
We will provide accommodation. You can use and enjoy the house and garden. We will also provide food during the working days (meaning when we work together).

Alojamiento
There are more options for accommodation. One-bedroom apartment with heating, hot water, electricity, a kitchen, and a bathroom for those who want their privacy and comfort. The second option is seasonal accommodation in a huge house where we live ourselves. There are few finished and few unfinished rooms, terrace and in the most part of the house, heating is not installed yet. You can sleep in unfinished rooms, on the terrace, or garden if you wish. In case we will find a common note you can also share a room with us. This option is for braver ones who do not insist on privacy that much and is possible from spring to autumn. A shared kitchen, bathroom, wifi access, and garden are available here too.

There is good public transportation net between Brozany and vilages/cities arount like Litomerice, Terezin, Roudnice, Usti nad Labem, Decin or Prague. There are buses and trains. We also have a car so we can drive you when we have time.
There is also a river where you can swimm and a forest in the village. :)

We work partially remotely so we have decent wifi connection and a desk set as a workspace.
