Descripción
We are a dairy goat farm, with chickens, bees, an orchard and a small garden. On our farm we make goat’s milk soap and lotion. We also make beeswax products. My husband and I are both retired from our careers and are full time on the farm. We have a true passion for what we do and our farm.
Presently we are in the process of building a structure to move the Soap business into. This should be finished in the next six weeks. This will have living quarters as well and can serve as our intern residence.
Our farm is located in the quiet countryside, thirty minutes outside Little Rock.
Our home is friendly, warm and welcoming. We would love the opportunity to share our life and experiences with you.

We are very interested in sharing our farm with others, especially the younger generation and passing on our passion for what we do.
We love to teach others about daily life on the farm and also share the skills that make our farm successful.

Ayuda
We are looking for folks willing to jump in and help out with general farming as well as a few special projects.
On a daily basis, we have feeding, milking, egg gathering, and general maintenance.
We are looking to do a few special projects in the coming months.
There will be some fencing, reconstruction on the chicken yard, building a play yard for the bunny, landscaping, and some repair projects.
This summer we are taking on our biggest vegetable garden to date. We would love to share our garden with others and learn together about all we can do with our produce.

We offer our Soap Cottage for our
Workawayers.
This is a full house on our property. The house has a great room, kitchen and a full wrap around porch
There is a bedroom with queen bed and a private bath. This facility also has a loft with two twin beds.
There are full sized washer and dryer as well.
We would expect the area to be kept neat as we have lots of farm visitors.
The Soap Cottage was completed in mid 2018.
Meals will be served family style. However if a Workawayers prefers seperate meals, that is fine as well.
We usually do breakfast, snack lunch and a full evening meal.

We are pretty low key folks. Our life revolves around the farm. We spend most of our time here. At least once or twice a week we do head to town and would be happy to have company.
We keep a pretty neat and tidy farm, and would really appreciate the same from our guests.
Our life is simple, but rewarding and very full of joy.
