I'm Maryhan originally from Cairo and currently living in Siwa, I’ve been working for two years and now I’m running a guest house, So Siwa is an oasis in the middle of Western desert that is surrounded with palm trees, olive trees, beautiful mountains and great sand sea.
It is really calm and peaceful oasis that you easily could connect to yourself and enjoy pure nature.

Siwa Oasis has a rich culture and community, I learned a lot about their unique ways of building, gardening, sewing and of course food so I’ll be happy to share this experience.
Our welcomed volunteers will be staying in the guest house and exposed to different guest cultures and experiences also local community events that he/she will be sharing with me.

I own a guest house that you are welcome to stay in, it is an ecovilla five minutes walk from Siwa city center.
You are welcome to use the kitchen that is fully equipped and a lot of times I cook and of course your welcome to share food. I can offer food continuously in the fridge and you can cook yourself and a lot of times I will share home cooked dinner with you.

The guest house are really close to city center so you can use a bike in the house to move around which is really nice experience

Internet access is reliable and fast also there is space dedicated for working at the house.

Sören was one of the best Workawayers I had received and one of the best human beings I ever met.
He was so punctual in everything he did, he was always making sure to keep me updated of what’s happening which helped me a lot.

it was my first Workaway ever and it could not have been better!! The guesthouse is filled by love from the owner Maryhan and is probably the most aesthetic place I ever lived in, so you feel real beautiful when reading a book haha.
