  Winter in Mexico, on the west coast - (in La Paz, Baja California South) - from Dec 2024 till April 2025.

  Hello! I'm looking for someone to help with general house chores and cooking. You'll be helping me (69) take care of my daughter's house. My daughter (37) works in tourism and winter months are extremely busy for her. She needs help with keeping her house in order, groceries and cooking healthy meals for her family. She has 2 babies: a 2 year-old daughter and a 4 month-old baby boy. We have two babysitters for the kids, so we don't need a babysitter, although you are welcome to interract with the kids. But the babysitters were not hired to do housework, or groceries, or cooking - just take care of the babies. My daughter also has 2 dogs (a lab & a cocker), and a cat - all very well behaved - that need to be fed & watered daily. It's all a bit too much for this here grandma (me)! So we need an extra hand. Food, accomodation & internet are provided. Important: I am a 100% plant-based healthy vegan. My daughter & her hubbie are meat eaters but they gladly eat whatever I prepare, which is strongly plant based while I am there. So be prepared to cook and eat mostly vegan healthy meals (I can teach you, easy). No specific experience is required. Just a good attitude, patience with babies & pets, able to keep calm in a very busy household, has a desire to help out, someone who has initiative & is quick to learn. Hope to meet you soon!

  A great opportunity to learn about Mexican culture. We speak both spanish and english around the house and with our friends. We can show you our beautiful town and beaches. You will also love discovering the surrounding areas. People are very laid back and friendly here. You'll make friends easily.

  Time off: The town is within walking distance. Many nice places to eat or have a coffee in town. Beaches close by. Gorgeous sunsets. Transport: bus and Uber are both very cheap, but you can practically walk anywhere.
