We are a family of 2. We live on 10 acres in Nicholson, East Gippsland Australia . We have 20 sheep, 1 goat , chickens 2 cats, 1 dog and a very big vegie garden. We like meeting people and entertaining and enjoyinging the outdoors including fishing, swimming, bike riding and camping
We are 15 minutes away from the Bairnsdale train station we can pick you if you don't have transport.

We live in Nicholson, East Gippsland Victoria Australia surrounded by mountains an enormous lake system and ocean beaches. We enjoy boating. Fishing, swimming and skiing in the winter

Pieter and Levi , were absolutely delightful young men . They cooked dinner , did some cleaning , gardening, hedging, and dug a trench whilst visiting. They were easy to live with and we enjoyed dancing around the kitchen when it rained a lot Would definitely recommend as awesome Workaways 😀

The stay with Jeanette was wonderful. She is such a lovely person. We did some easy work and we got a lot in return. Jeanette showed us the beautiful surroundings and we even met her friends. We had a very nice time with Jeanette, she is very welcoming, easy going and makes you feel right at home.
We did fun chores around her house, including logging. She loves her animals, likes to show a lot of the area and took us to see her friends several times.
We did have the truly Australian experience!

Omer and Marlene were awesome guests, great cooks , handy with a chainsaw, not afraid of hard work and getting a job done . They were excellent company and easy to get along with. A very lovely experience with these two great humans😀

I can definitely recommend jeanette as a host. I had my first workaway experience with her and was welcomed right from the start. jeanette made a lot of effort to show me the most beautiful places in the area.

Our time with Elisa was awesome, she tried her hand at anything mowing grass, hedge trimming, weeding, cleaning and greeting hosts. She was a great swimming partner and pleasant to be around. I wish her the best on her travels and she is welcome to visit and stay again.

Luccie, was a quite respectful person who helped around our house cleaning windows kitchen cupboards some weeding and hedging. Luccie English is limited therefore engagement was limited however the time was good.

We spent two very nice weeks working outside: weeding, cutting bushes and trees, getting fire ready, etc. The tasks were always very clear and we had very good equipment to fulfill them. We spent a summer week in Nicholson and it was so fantastic! Jeanette, Craig, and Axel took us to rivers and Lake Entrance for swimming and picnicking.
