  Hello everyone, my name is Daniele and I welcome you all.
  Here below is a glimpse on my way of Life and what you will find at my place:
  
  Beyond Organic: A Holistic Homestead in Loreto Aprutino in the Abruzzo Region.
  
  About my Project & Philosophy:
  Welcome to my 5-hectare regenerative homestead located in the heart of Abruzzo, in the historic town of Loreto Aprutino. I am an organic farmer, but my practices go well beyond standard organic certification. My daily work is rooted in deep ethical values, absolute integrity, and a holistic worldview that treats the land, animals, and humans as a single interconnected living system.
  
  A note on my dynamics & Workaway Guidelines:
  While I run a professional, year-round organic market garden and olive grove on this land, this Workaway exchange is strictly non-commercial. To keep our exchange fair, volunteers will never be involved in production, harvesting, or processing tasks for the commercial market. Your presence here is about personal cultural exchange, shared household living, and learning the lifestyle of holistic sustainability in exchange of a little help around the propriety.
  
  What fills my days and shapes this land:
  • The Poultry Circle: I care for laying hens through their entire life cycle, from hatching eggs to caring for chicks and grown chickens.
  • Year-Round Market Garden: I grow a wide and diverse variety of seasonal vegetables through all four seasons.
  • Olive Groves & Orchard: Tending to traditional olive trees and a thriving ecosystem of about 80 olive trees and 100 fruit trees, surrounded by biodiversity hotspots.
  
  The Help I welcome is absolutely non-commercial related.
  I love sharing daily routines and your help will be roughly 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week focusing purely on our shared living space, personal consumption, and cultural exchange:
  • Domestic & Co-Living Care: Helping with meal preparation, cleaning up shared living spaces, and keeping our home tidy.
  • The Personal Homestead Experience: You are welcome to shadow me to learn about regenerative agriculture!
  For hands-on help, volunteers assist only with non-commercial household tasks such as feeding the resident chickens
  (and of course egg picking for our yummy yummy meals), caring the household garden beds, helping maintain the private spaces on the property, and occasionally, if needed do some light DIY tasks, and anything that will please you to do around the property.
  
  Language & Culture:
  Sharing recipes from your home country, practicing languages over dinner, and sharing our stories.
  
  What You Will not Be Doing:
  To keep our exchange completely transparent, the following commercial tasks are strictly off-limits for volunteers:
  • No harvesting, washing, or packaging vegetables intended for the market or commercial sale.
  • No commercial olive harvesting or processing for production.
  • No assisting with commercial clients, market logistics, sales, or any business related administration.
  
  I am purely seeking Travelers to share personal interest and Culture, have some company, learn myself from your life style and experiences, hangout with my Friends that share my same view of Life, in exchange of a little help on your side.
  
  The Accommodation & Co-living:
  I live on my own (for the time beeing)
  My home is a cozy, peaceful sanctuary immersed in rolling green hills and quiet nature.
  I share this space with my wonderful cat, Sky.
  • Space: I have one extra private room with a queen bed and can comfortably host up to 2 people at a time.
  • Pets: You are welcome to bring your pet! However, please ensure they are friendly and safe around my indoor cat (Sky)
  and the free-roaming chickens outside.
  • Languages spoken: I speak fluently Italian, English, French, and Spanish, making it easy for us to connect and share stories.
  
  Meals:
  3 or more meals a day will be provided and will consist in prevalence of own grown / raised bounties. A variety of vegetables are always available year-round, fresh eggs from our chickens. Lucky enough we’ll have fresh milk, wine and meat from my farmer neighbors just a walk away, and for anything else I will provide from the supermarket.
  Breakfast: I usually have Italian traditional breakfast consisting of Cornetto (Croissant) from the local bakery, home made jam from a variety of fruits, bread, cereals, fresh milk from my neighbors’ cows (or bottled one from the store if you’ll prefer), coffee and/or tee, eggs.
  Lunch: Lunch is usually at 01:00 pm, and, also as per Italian tradition, it will be pasta in various sauces accompanied with something on the side (which we’ll decide together according to our craving of the day), bread will always be available.
  Dinner: As we feel.. Pizza from the pizzeria next door or better yet, home made with my tomato sauce, BBQ, or for my pleasure, any traditional dish from your country you’d like to cook for me [ :
  That’s an overview and of course you may count on the maximum flexibility on my side.
  
  The Surroundings:
  Loreto Aprutino is a beautiful, historic gem in the Abruzzo region. The property offers the perfect balance between isolation and connection.
  • Quiet & Green: Total peace, fresh air, green all around and birdsong.
  • Perfectly Located: Halfway between the stunning Adriatic beaches and the dramatic Apennine mountains.
  • Connection: Easy access to nearby towns for exploring local culture, markets, and history,
  and well connected to the “big city” of Pescara.
  
  Who I Am Looking For:
  I am seeking open-minded travelers and souls who share a holistic view of life and hold the maximum respect for nature.
  This is a place for meaningful exchange, where we don't just share chores, but also thoughts, ethics, and a mindful way of living on Earth.

  I would like to host Persons to share nice moments of social living and outdoor experiences, practicing of languages, cooking regional and local recipes, visiting near-by town and why not the city of Pescara whose offer art and historical local culture, during the days off we might have a hike in the near-by and gorgeous Voltigno National Park (beautiful either in the summer as in the snowy winter) for flora and fauna sightseeing, seasonally local wineries and small town hold traditional celebrations of local specialties.

  Alojamiento

  I have an extra room with a queen bed and can accommodate up to 2 persons.
  You may come with your motor-home if you d'like and place it comfortably around the property. The kitchen is well equipped and at your disposal, although I would prefer to share meals and cook together simply for a socialization matter.
  But feel free to use it as you please and at any time.
  The room is clean, modern and offers a certain privacy.
  The fireplace is running 24/7 in the winter, and you will find a cool ambient during the summer.

  The "big city" of Pescara is about 20 minutes by car and well connected by bus. Near by towns are worth a visit for an authentic immersion into the Abruzzo region's tradition.

  Sky lives, or better say sleeps indoor, but gives his best outdoor.
  Born and raise at the farm, he's the king of the chickens.
  He hangs out with the feathered ones and they seem appreciate him.
  If you've looked everywhere and still have no sight of Sky, look in the coop.
  You might find him perched among them.
  A real hunter and a tender companion.
