Descripción
We are Philip and Lirie we have 2 beautiful small children and 3 Pointer dogs, Siggi, Vloki and Finn. Our venue, is a farm and event venue nestled in the picturesque Rysmierbult area near Potchefstroom in North West. At our farm, we specialize in creating unforgettable experiences by hosting and planning weddings and a variety of other functions. Our comprehensive services include styling, decor, and floral arrangements, ensuring every detail of every event is perfectly tailored to the client's vision.
We have full time staff that has been with us for years and that is keen to share their skills. Blessing is our full-time carpenter, Lazie and Sithole are leading our garden staff, Anja is our chef, and Lena, Ella and Celeste are in our housekeeping crew. At the farm, we believe in the power of knowledge exchange. We are eager to share our expertise in event planning, farm management, and South African culture. In return, we are excited to learn from your experiences and perspectives, gain insights into different cultures and potentially discover new ways to enhance our services.

Our beautiful venue is equipped with a bar and a kitchen. We are currently seeking help with the styling of events, including table scaping, flower arrangements, and decor styling. If you have a passion for event design and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you. Don't worry, you don't need experience we will teach you everything we know! We also run a full-time cattle farm where general maintenance can come in handy. In the spring of this year we are also planning on planting some flowers that we can use at our wedding venue.

Alojamiento
We offer accommodation either in our guest bedroom in our house or if there is no guests booked for the week in the guesthouse. All meals will be eaten with our family and all will join in helping to cook.

During your time off, there are many ways to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You can explore the scenic landscapes, visit local attractions in Potchefstroom ( about 40km from us), or engage in outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking and bird-watching. For transport, we travel a lot to town and also have a driver available.
As for living arrangements, we have a few house rules to ensure a harmonious environment. We value respect, cleanliness, and open communication. We live a simple and sustainable lifestyle, and we appreciate everyone pitching in to maintain a positive atmosphere.

Staying with Lirie and Philip was a great experience. I enjoyed myself working in the kitchen alongside Anja to prepare the catering for 2 weddings and a big party.
