We are a new, modern, eco-friendly and vegan hostal in the historical center of Santa Marta, just 3 blocks from the Caribbean Sea, a 5 min walk from the most popular bars and restaurants and a 10 min walk from the bus stop to all interesting places around (Minca, Tayrona, Palomino etc.) !
The crew consist of The Big Boss - Belgium and his army (Colombia, Czech Republic).
The place itself has 2 dorms (4 person female only dorm and 10 person mixed dorm), 5 double private rooms, a kitchen a bar, working space, terrace and a small garden. And a cat. Called Chilli (sometimes spicy, sometimes lazy)!

Santa Marta is not only a perfect hub to jump to Minca, Tayrona, Palomino etc. You'll learn or improve your Spanish, you will also practice English (most of the guests are Europeans) and you can also practice Dutch, French or Czech! You will see and experience how the hostel works, how the true Costeno culture looks like, and surely you will meet a bunch of interesting people! We will take you to a pura Colombiana rumba and maybe you will even learn how to dance salsa and vallenato! (However, we cant guarantee that jejeje).
General:
We are looking for active, friendly energetic people who likes to have fun, but also are responsible and not lazy. In our hostel, the attention to the guest is the highest priority, therefore we are looking for somebody, who likes to talk, to share and is eager to get some new experiences and maybe new inspirations for his own travelling:).

Double bed in a big hostel dorm, with its own curtain, light and plug. Air conditioned (believe us, that is a big plus in Santa Marta). Access to the kitchen, possibility to do your laundry for free.
Free breakfast, drinking water all day, possibility of dinner.
Nearby the hostel you will find transport to Tayrona, Palomino, Riohacha, Minca. All major beaches and cultural highlights around Santa Marta are easily accessible. We cooperate with several travel agencies to do tours to Ciudad Perdida, La Guajira, moto rental etc. We also cooperate with a spanish professor, in case you would like some guided spanish lessons.
