Descripción
We are Elena, Federico, Cloe (4 years), Tideg (2 years), and Anais (1 year). Our farm is situated in Tuscany, 20 minutes from the sea, and 20 minutes from Lucca. We started this project in 2003, with the ambition of creating an open and welcoming house, where we can teach and learn in a warm, convivial environment. Our house is set around 4 hectares of land with olive trees, vineyards and a vegetable garden. Herbs and flowers spill over the paths. Three donkeys, a horse and a dog complete our family. We have a guesthouse that caters for Agritourism, which includes a restaurant where we cook meals for the guests using local and homegrown organic produce.

We are looking for helpers that can give a hand in and around the house. The tasks mainly include looking after the children and playing with them outside in the sun. Italian is not necessary and we will be happy if our children can learn a bit of English. Please contact us if only you have had experience with children or you love too much stay and play with them.
Help preparing meals for the guests in the main kitchen where you can learn about Tuscan cuisine. Help with light activities, and tidying up in the house.
The children have a lot of energy; they love playing outside and discovering new things. But also reading, painting and any other artistic adventures.
It would be better for us if you can stay for at least one month or more so you can get to know the children and they can get to know you.
The work is varied and we can arrange it day by day, according to your and our needs.

Accommodation is one of the very nice double rooms in the guesthouse, and a shared bathroom with one other guestroom. Meals are eaten together in the house with the host family.
This position is ideal for a couple or two friends who are enthusiastic and enjoy spending time in the countryside.

We are passionate about food. We have another farm where we grow organic vegetables that are sold at a farmers’ market. The environment in the guesthouse is very relaxed; sometimes the guests cook with us and the restaurant is in a lovely common area with a fireplace where all the guests eat together.
Limited internet access (no wifi).
We are also hosts for Wwoof.
