  We are an interior showroom and cafe/wine bar in the holiday town of Yuzawa, 1 hour by bullet train from Tokyo and home to several ski resorts.
  
  We are looking for solid Workawayers who have experience in food service, as a waiter/waitress, sommelier or chef and also in building/carpentry and trades.
  
  You will be serving customers, but also take part in snow removal, cleaning and general maintenance.
  
  We may also be looking for help with DIY projects so if you have any trades skills that will be a great help.
  
  There are different options available for accommodation. Some are very basic whilst we also have access to some very nice properties. Please enquire about the current availabilities!
  
  We will provide a base salary of 1000 yen an hour but potentially more for experienced chefs, managers, servers etc.
  
  You will have access to many ski resorts, all either walking distance or accessible by shittle, and be near a main train station.
  
  We have a shared car available for staff if you have a driver's license.
  
  The area is famous for snow, rice farming, sake and hot springs. You will be immersed in the local culture and language.

  Japanese ability, driver's license, social media knowledge, skills in the trades or in the kitchen are all really helpful!

  You will have access to some of the most beautiful nature but still accessible to the city. There are over 15 ski resorts within a 15 minute drive and three within a ( 5 minute walk). There is a foot hot spring literally across the street from us, as well as dozens of amazing eateries walking distance.
  In the warmer months, there are hiking trails, rivers and all kind of outdoors activities. Since this is a small business, you will be exposed to many different jobs and learn new skills.
  You will have the opportunity to deal directly with our Japanese customers and be exposed to the language and culture. We will introduce you to some of the local hidden treasures, and people if the area.
