Hi, My name is David and I live on a beautiful Mountain property near Mullumbimby with awesome views through the hills to the ocean, often with friends and travelers visiting. There are also about 3 other people living here in various other cabins/houses etc.
There is forest (bordering National Park) and lots of wildlife and birdlife as well as tropical fruit trees on the property, we are also in the process of establishing vegtable gardens. We are off grid, the solar power supplies day to day needs.
The property is about 15 minutes to Mullumbimby and 25 minutes to Byron Bay. Meals are vegetarian. I enjoy meeting and sharing time with travellers and learning about other cultures..

There is a spare detached private room and also a caravan. My place is more like an alternate style cottage with detached rooms/caravan, but has most mod cons,hot water and solar power etc. It is fairly basic but comfortable..

We had a great time staying with Dave on his beautiful property near mullumbimby. He's incredibly easy to get on with and made us feel at home straight away. The gorgeous views and Daves chilled out personality make life at his place really peaceful.

They kept busy brush cutting, building and digging trenches, weeding etc. They are both able to learn new skills very quickly! I enjoyed having Duncan stay here. He is a very genuine and friendly guy. Duncan picks up new tasks quickly and is a great worker , it was very hot when he was here but he always kept going, always with a positive attitude.

Life on the hill is tranquil and peaceful.

I spend two weeks with Dave in Mullumbimby and it was an amazing experience. Living in the nature, having the beautiful view in the morning and taking care of the trees, I enjoyed it so much! Dave is nice and relaxed. Thank you Dave for everything!

It was great having Fabrice stay here. He is able to take on lots of varied jobs, he learns quickly and can work independently. It was very hot most of the month he stayed here and he worked hard, often on his own.He is honest and trustworthy. I stayed at Dave's place for about a week, and had a wonderful time. Like Mullumbimby's town itself, Dave is a very sat back and relaxed person. It was very nice to see different nearby areas (sometimes in his cool combi van!) too. If you are looking for a place to chill and wind-down a little, this is a great place to do just that.
