I'm a SMBC (Single Mom By Choice) to my 16 month old daughter Rogue and I have a female rescue dog named Loui. I moved to Squamish 8 years ago for the climbing! I discovered the wicked paddleboarding and trail running shortly after that. We live in the top level of a house and my friend lives below us. We each have a dog so the dogs run between the suites when they aren't playing in the fenced in yard, chasing each other around the fire pit.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer 4.5 months after Rogue was born. I just finished 5 months of chemo and had a double mastectomy Dec 24. I would love to host someone who truly likes young kids and has experience with carrying for them. I could use some help with some house cleaning/cooking, dog walking, a bit of childcare and packing/purging actually - we're moving at the end of June. Having some help would allow me to properly repair my body with food, bodywork appointments, yoga and friends. I'm a traveller and I miss it. I would love the opportunity to host someone who's on an adventure!
We're one block from the spectacular Squamish trail system! As well, the Squamish Bluffs are just 7 minutes away by car.
Seeing as I'm looking for help with childcare of my young female toddler, I'm comfortable hosting female travellers.

I've travelled a ton and have friends all around the world. I love meeting people from different cultures. I would love to pass along all the Squamish tips & tricks for climbing, trailing running or emersion into the yoga community.

Housework - Dishes (cleaning, loading and unloading the dishwasher), laundry, vacuuming & moping the floors, dusting, etc.
Packing - I would love help packing & purging a lot of stuff since I'm moving at the end of June.
Loui would love to go out on an adventure hikes or walks!
Childcare would be the largest contribution hours - so I can repair with exercise, practitioners, etc.
Or if you play the guitar, I would love lessons!
If you speak Spanish, I would love for you to speak Spanish to Rogue.
If you like to cook, that would be amazing! I don't love cooking. I have a great gas stove and gas oven and a big kitchen.

Alojamiento
I have a 3 bedroom suite in a house. You would have your own bedroom with double bed. The bathroom is shared but you would have your own sink where you can keep your personal bathroom items. Laundry is in the bathroom as well as a full bathtub. The house has a big backyard with fire pit which you're welcome to use. We have tons of firewood as well.

During time off there are amazing trails to explore! World class mountain biking, climbing, hiking, etc or head up to Whistler to explore. The house is 400m to the grocery store, restaurants or anything else you would need. There is a bus stop that takes you to downtown Squamish 300m from the house.
