We are a couple from Brazil (Marina) and the Netherlands (Jouri), and our common passion is to travel, explore and enjoy the great outdoors. Together we have seen half of the world, however we love living in South East Asia. We would like to welcome independent, pro-active, friendly and easygoing people to our jungle home in Penang and help us with preparing healthy food, keeping the house clean and take care of our pets (feeding and walking). The above tasks will take up the majority of your "helping hours" and you will follow a daily schedule of tasks.

Travelers will experience living in a Tropical island surrounded by lush rain forest, durian farms and stone throw away from the Penang national park.
- Visit and hike many mountains and waterfalls
- Learn about Malaysian History and Culture
- Practice English, Portuguese or Dutch
- Learn about tropical fruits and visit fruit farm (including Durian farms - the king of fruits!)
- Read some books here
- Observe and learn about Malaysian birds
- Explore George Town - a wonderful Unesco World Heritage
- Get lost in the flavors of Malaysia - a unique combination of Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisine
Ayuda
We would love your help with cleaning our home daily, healthy food prep and taking care of our two pets (dog and cat). We offer a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in a tropical pool villa in exchange for max. 5 hours of help on Monday to Friday. The weekends are off - as they're supposed to!

We offer a queen sized bed in a very comfortable bedroom with private bathroom in a pool villa in the Batu Ferringhi area. The house is surrounded by mountains and greenery, and the beach is 2min walk away.

- Public Transport is available in our area, buses run everyday, from early morning to evenings.
- Scooters can be rented from shops near by.
- Good phone signal at home, and excellent wi-fi is also available.
- In time off you can (suggestions):
- enjoy the swimming pool/house
- hike to nearby waterfalls, national park, go to the beach
- relax, meditate, sit on hammock, read, enjoy the sound of the birds.
- explore the island in all its glory.
