Descripción
I own a large acreage with organic gardens and a small pond, close to Duncan B.C.. I am located in the country on 5 acres of land. We live about 40 minutes from the ocean on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia. Retired and need help with chores and odd jobs around our place. We have room for 1 or 2 persons. I am friendly and enjoy the company of young people.

Guests will experience a wide range of country life skills, such as organic gardening, tractor driving, chainsaw use, etc. Within a maximum forty minute drive they will experience world class boating, kayaking, fishing, bird watching and whale watching. The West Coast of Vancouver Island has wild rainforests and rugged, sandy beaches.

Guests can take a bus through the whole of Cowichan Valley. There is two world class music festivals in the summer. There is rubber tubing in the local rivers. The city of Victoria is a short bus ride away. They will also have access to bicycles.

We helped with trail and garden clean up, set up drainage to the pond with the help of the tractor, basic house cleaning and repairs as well as cooking dinner for us as well as some guests occasionally.
