  Panskura is well connected by train with Howrah and Kharagpur from where you can go to Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Amritsar and rest of the country.
  
  In your free time, you will learn about our local culture and customs; a tour of flower cultivation; join me in shopping at the local market; learn Hindi and Bengali other house works with me if you wish.
  
  just to let you know that Since our class would be maximum 3 days in a week so there could be a lot of downtimes I will definitely take you to the places nearby according to our time but might happen that you would get lots of time for your own. I have unlimited internet access and WiFi so if you can spend time on the internet then well and good.
  
  You can join our social gatherings and even can attend weddings with us.
  
  I can take you to Kolkata anytime. It takes only two hours by train from Panskura. Kolkata is one of the biggest metro cities of India. A city with five million people known as the ‘City of Joy’, Kolkata holds an important place in the economy, politics and culture of India. The capital of West Bengal, Kolkata is one of the four metropolitan cities in India and has retained its quintessential charm despite modernization.
  
  
  “What Bengal thought today, India thought tomorrow”, is a famous line associated with the city for having produced some of the greatest thinkers, artists, filmmakers, and writers like Rabindranath Tagore, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay and Satyajit Ray. Indeed, ideas in Kolkata in the fields of art, literature, cinema and theater have provided inspiration to rest of the country.
  
  It is more a learning experience for you, having fun and your involvement in my family.

  Ayuda

  We have started our class successfully in May 2018. We do not have many students right now so we are trying to get more students, however, as of now, the plan is to hold classes for three days a week for a maximum five hours per day. Maybe 2-3 meetings with local schools or tutor for the promotion of our classes ( you just need to be with the host, you would not have to convince anyone o dont worry).
  
  My wish for the future is to expand my classes to accommodate all age groups so that they receive quality instruction from a fluent English speaker. I will be present and available in all classes to provide teaching material and assistance with translation when required. If you are confident and capable in your ability to teach English, your help will be greatly appreciated!
  
  Students pay a very small amount of money to us and we try to use that for the WorkAwayer’s expenses and for some needy students who can't afford the fees.

  Alojamiento

  Accommodation - large bedroom with king size bed and a small table and ceiling fan. There is a balcony outside of the bedroom with an Indian toilet.
  
  Meal and breakfast details:
  
  We are not vegetarian but if you are a vegetarian we respect your decision and will provide you with what you want.
  guest won't have any access to the kitchen and will follow the family meal times (of course I will accommodate as much as I can regarding the timing).
  
  You will get two meals a day along with breakfast and snacks in the evening time.
  
  Breakfast is tea and biscuit/puri and vegetable curry/muri and chop (local snacks).
  
  Lunch is rice, dal, vegetable (egg/chicken/fish). Rice, dal, and veg will be in the meal for sure along with that there could be egg or chicken or fish depending on what is available that day. You will eat whatever we eat on that day because once you are with us we are a family.
  
  Dinner is roti, dal, vegetables along with that an omelet/egg curry/chicken,
  
  Information about our locality: You will get to see flower cultivation and the amazing flower fields which are around 15 minutes by car from the Panskura station.
  
  A local snack called "chop'' is famous in Panskura.
  
  Digha sea beach is nearby. A train from Panskura to Digha is available almost every morning and evening which takes 2 hours travel times. That is the only sea beach nearby.
  
  The livelihood of the common people is dependent on business/job/agriculture. Many varieties of flowers and green vegetable are grown and are supplied to Kolkata from here. A local vegetable wholesale market is the main trade for this town. This vegetable market is the second largest market in West Bengal. The first governmental cold storage and market for the flower is situated at Panskura.
