  A reserve located between the towns of Alban and Sasaima, an hour and a half from Bogotá. There, more than 40 years ago, the grandfather started a process for the recovery one of the most beautiful ecosystems in the world, the Andean forest. At this moment the reserve has a good sample of forest that, together with important water sources (rivers, creek, lake and water eyes) generate a space of relaxation, fun and closeness to nature. There is also a farm and a hostel project. Crops of coffee, fruit trees and flowers accompany the new projects of farm and hostel. 1400mt above sea level. We are part of the Network of Sustainable Settlements of LatinAmerica CASA and the Global Ecovillage Network
  
  Una reserva ubicada entre los poblados de Alban y Sasaima, a hora y media de Bogotá. Allí, hace más de 40 años el abuelo inicio un proceso para la recuperación de un pedacito de uno de los ecosistemas mas hermosos del mundo, el bosque andino. En este momento la reserva cuenta con una buena muestra de bosque que, junto con fuentes de agua importantes (ríos, quebrada, lago y ojos de agua) generan un espacio de relajación, diversión y acercamiento a la naturaleza. Cultivos de café, frutales y flores acompañan los nuevos proyectos de granja y hostal. 1400mt sobre el nivel del mar. Somos parte de la Red de Asentamientos Sostenibles de América Latina CASA y la Red Global de Ecoaldeas

  Your host in the reserve is an engaged and attentive lady, with a profound knowledge, she shares the spirit of caring for nature. You will feel the connection with ecosystems, with water, the forest. Learn to manage the gúadua, the land, share to create!!! Visitors can have the opportunity to learn about the different network we are part of (in permaculture, ecovillage, conservation, traditional and intentional communities) and explore future exchanges. We have three beautiful and affectionate dogs, hens, and many other little animals of the forest.

  Su anfitrión en la reserva es una dama comprometida y atenta, con su profundo conocimiento ella comparte el espíritu de cuidar de la naturaleza. Podrás sentir la conexión con los ecosistemas, con el agua, el bosque. Se comparte conocimiento del manejo la gúadua, la tierra. Los visitantes pueden tener la oportunidad de conocer sobre las diferentes Redes (en temas de permacultura, ecoaldeas, conservación, comunidades tradicionales e intencionales), de las que formamos parte y explorar futuros intercambios. Tenemos tres hermosos y cariñosos perros, gallinas, y muchos otros animalitos del bosque.

  Ayuda

  If you visit us, you can contribute to the sustainability of the project that in this moments requires work in construction (conventional and with guadua, earth, etc.) could be supporting with the coffee dryer, simple ceilings, etc. They can support with sowing the orchard and sowing in the nursery, taking care of the animals and enriching the forest. Other activities may include package design and signage to improve the products and services we offer. You can develop your creativity with many elements that we have like bambu, wood, clay, native plants, recycling, among many others. Since we have visitors you can propose pedagogical activities for children, young people and adults.
  
  Si nos visitas, puedes contribuir a la sostenibilidad del proyecto que en este momento requiere trabajo en construcción (convencional y con guadua, tierra, etc.) pude ser apoyando con el secador de cafe, techos simples, etc. Pueden apoyar con siembra la huerta y siembra en el vivero, cuidado de los animales, enriquecimiento del bosque. Otras actividades pueden incluir diseño de empaques y señalización para mejorar los productos y servicios que ofrecemos. Puedes desarrollar tu creatividad con muchos elementos que tenemos como bambú, madera, arcilla, plantas nativas, reciclaje, entre muchos otros. Ya que tenemos visitantes puedes proponer actividades pedagógicas para niños, jóvenes y adultos.

  There is multiple accommodation with shared bathrooms. Sheets, blankets and towel included.
  Inspired by the house of his ancestors in Sweden, the grandfather designed the main house of the reserve based on stone and wood, there is also a little cozy house available.
  Breakfast and Lunch provided, but you have to care for your own dinner. Basic groceries are available at a walking distance. If you have any dietary requirement or food restriction please let us know and we will see if you need to bring your own provisions.
  Support is requested with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen, bathrooms and rooms.
  Climate: Warm during the day (18°C a 26°C) and chilly at nights (8°C a 16°C)
  
  It would be possible to offer breakfast and lunch, basic ingredients for meals (as host go to bed early)

  Inspirado por la casa de sus antepasados en Suecia, el abuelo diseñó la casa principal de la reserva a base de piedra y madera, también hay una pequeña casa acogedora disponible.
  El desayuno y el almuerzo están incluidos, pero tienes que hacerte cargo de tu cena. Los alimentos básicos están disponibles a poca distancia. Si tiene algún requerimiento dietético o restricción alimenticia ponte en contacto y veremos si tienes que traer tus propias provisiones.
  Se solicita apoyo con la limpieza y el mantenimiento de cocinas, baños y habitaciones.

  For transport you can use the service of motorcycles and taxis. To go further, in the main roads buses are frequent.
  
  Es una hermosa región, usted puede visitar varias hollines, disfrute de la lectura del tiempo en la hamaca (tenemos una biblioteca muy agradable). También está a un lugar especial para el Birdwatching, los árboles de altura. Nights en la chimenea son también muy agradable.
  Para transportar usted puede utilizar el servicio de motos y taxis. Para ir mas lejos, en las principales vías hay buses frecuentemente.
