  We are family of four, we have 3 huskymix dogs and two cats.. We live in a old wooden school, which needs still renovating. We could use helping hands to renovation an d helping with the garden.
  We like art, music, nature, hiking, reading, volunteer work, travelling, meeting up with family and friends. We are close family and we like to meet new people from different cultures. Nature is very important to us, thats why we live in the countryside.

  This is very beautiful area, lake Päijänne is near and gorgeous nature and its forests, this area is part of Salpausselkä Geopark which is a landscape created by water. Here you can hike, we have little rowing boat and a canoe you can borrow. We have also have a cabin by the leak by lake Päijänne, where we can do a trip also. We can teach you finnish and tell you about local history.

  Our house has 4 big rooms, and more when renovation goes further. We can give a summer-room near the house where you can stay for the visit. Main house has facilities and kitchen.

  Bus from Lahti trainway station comes near, 5 min walk to the house. Local nature-sights here are Pulkkilanharju, Päijätsalo and Kammiovuori. Best you get around here countryside is by car, we can offer you ride. Also you can rent a bike form local camping site if you want and we can offer a bike too. Nearest city is Heinola 45 km, Lahti 75 km and the capital Helsinki is 175 km from here Sysmä.

  we have space for like 3-5 campervans and possible to sleep in a tent. Two people max can have a summer room near the main house.
