  We are a family with three children (13, 15, and 17 years old) living on a retreat farm in Lower Austria, in the beautiful Waldviertel region near the Mühlviertel border. Our passion is animals, which is why we share our home with dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, mini pigs, Highland cattle, and horses. Our animals are not kept for production or farming purposes but are part of therapeutic work, providing support and connection for people in need.
  As we work from home, we appreciate help with animal care and daily household tasks. Riding is not part of the duties but may be possible in your free time, depending on your skill level and prior arrangement.
  We follow a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle and enjoy simple, nature-connected living. We love meeting new people and sharing our way of life. If you are an animal lover and want to experience Austrian farm life, we would be happy to welcome you! We have space for up to two people.
  
  
  
  Wir sind eine Familie mit drei Kindern (13, 15 und 17 Jahre alt) und leben auf einem Auszeithof in Niederösterreich, im wunderschönen Waldviertel nahe der Grenze zum Mühlviertel. Unsere große Leidenschaft sind Tiere, weshalb wir unser Zuhause mit Hunden, Katzen, Hühnern, Puten, Minischweinen, Hochlandrindern und Pferden teilen. Unsere Tiere sind keine Nutztiere, sondern Teil unserer therapeutischen Arbeit und bieten Menschen in schwierigen Lebenssituationen Unterstützung und Verbindung.
  Da wir von zu Hause aus arbeiten, freuen wir uns über Hilfe bei der Tierpflege und den täglichen Hausarbeiten. Reiten gehört nicht zu den Aufgaben, kann aber je nach Können und Absprache in der Freizeit möglich sein.
  Wir leben vegetarisch/vegan und genießen ein einfaches, naturverbundenes Leben. Es macht uns Freude, neue Menschen kennenzulernen und unsere Lebensweise zu teilen. Wenn du Tiere liebst und das österreichische Landleben auf einem Bauernhof erleben möchtest, bist du herzlich willkommen! Wir haben Platz für maximal zwei Personen.

  We are a German-Austrian family with 2 children who love animals and nature. We have lived in different countries and are very much looking forward to getting to know new people and cultures.
  Our farm is in a secluded location and only 5 minutes away from the Frauenwieserteich.
  The Waldviertel is located in the north of Lower Austria and offers a lot of nature, forest and the famous Wackelsteine. The unspoilt nature and the mild, stimulating climate with warm days and cool nights are particularly suitable for climatic cures. Cycling, hiking, fishing, recharging your batteries, cross-country skiing and ice skating are just a few of the leisure activities on offer.
  
  Wir sind eine deutsch-österreichische Familie mit 3 Kindern, die viel Liebe zu Tieren und der Natur haben. Wir haben in verschiedenen Ländern gelebt und freuen uns sehr darauf, neue Menschen und Kulturen kennenzulernen.
  Unser Hof liegt in Alleinlage und nur 5 Minuten vom Frauenwieserteich entfernt.
  Das Waldviertel liegt im Norden Niederösterreich und bietet sehr viel Natur, Wald und die berühmten Wackelsteine. Eine intakte Natur und das leichte Reizklima mit warmen Tagen und kühlen Nächten sind besonders für Luftkuren geeignet. Radfahren, Wandern, Fischen, Kraft tanken, Langlaufen, und Eislaufen sind nur ein paar der möglichen Freizeitaktivitäten.

  We have single rooms with bathrooms.
  You are welcome to eat with us but it is also possible to cook in a separate kitchen and spend the evening alone.
  Since we ourselves live organic, vegetarian / vegan, we do not want meat or fish to be eaten in our house. Also, smoking is not allowed in our house, but outside is not a problem for us.
  
  Wir haben Einzelzimmer mit einem Bad.
  Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, mit uns zu essen, aber es ist auch möglich, separat zu kochen und den Abend allein zu verbringen.
  Da wir selbst Bio-Vegetarier/Veganer sind, möchten wir nicht, dass in unserem Haus Fleisch oder Fisch gegessen wird. Auch das Rauchen ist in unserem Haus nicht erlaubt, aber draußen ist es für uns kein Problem.
