We are South Africans, who are living in Georgia. We have a farm, and we plant 200 hectares of barley under pivot. We run the first herd of beef cattle. We had a house built on the farm, which requires a lot of maintenance. On the farm, we require fences removed and fixed. We are an elderly couple and the volunteer can live in the house with us and be fed by us, or can live in our office which has a bathroom attached. We also need someone to help develop our garden. Help to plant new wind break trees, working with the locals. Our farm is in an area called Gardabani. We use no till and using mainly cow manure as fertiliser. We are prepared to offer remuneration, but Georgia is a low income country. We have a local general manager and local workers from two early villages. It is a multi cultural area, but Georgian Mosley are the majority, they call themselves Azerbaijani. There is a tribe of locals called Swannies, people displaced from the mountains and a small community of South Africans. We also hire local contractors with machinery, and we would be interested to find what skill the volunteer would like to aquire in a farming environment. We do not have a more omelets street address as we live on the farm. We do not have either a blog or website. The volunteer will eat evening meals with us, but are free to sort themselves out for breakfast and lunch in our kitchen. The accommodation would be two options, one staying with us in our home, and two, we have an office with shower and toilet, which can be utilized as a small apartment.

In our farming area, there are various cultures. Often still using old methods of agriculture. We have Georgians and azerbajanies who follow a pastural life time. There are swannies, who are displaced people from the mountains, and are fierce people. Farm is not too far from Tbilisi, with cheap public transport to Tbilisi. We as hosts will assist in this. There are wine growing areas, high mountains, deserts etc and not far from Batumi, and easy to reach. We would arrange a visit to a Georgian home and a feast called a supra.
