Descripción
This piece of land was acquired just below a perfectly preserved medieval castle dating back to VI century A.D. in the famous Lilac Valley of Ibar, surrounded by the river, mountains, and stunning nature. There are no neighboring properties, only us, a mountain river, and the medieval castle.
We are a community organization, started by a group of friends that came together to create something unique in this part of the Balkans. Our role is to support the development of the forgotten fortress, fight against river pollution, educate and support the local communities.
The project started in 2022, now entering its second phase in which we are developing a cultural hub with campsite, open-air cinema, lectures, workshops, an animal farm, a permaculture garden and a secluded summer party area that can facilitate a music festival in the following years.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

You will experience life in an international volunteering community, below the most preserved medieval castle in Serbia in the historical heart of the country.
We are working on a unique project in the region. Right now we are the only connection to the ancient fortress and we transport visitors by our big raft for free. Weekends can be busy. There is a lot of public interest in the project so don't be surprised if you end up on TV while being here. As a community organization, we rely a lot on volunteering and during summer months there is a big mix of international and local crowds living with us and helping us.
Apart from that, fresh mountain air, great views, and an untouched mountain creek with natural pools and waterfalls to relax after work are just nearby.
Free mushroom picking course available for volunteers in the nearby forest (after summer rains).
You will have a chance to taste all types of local products and get to know Serbian culture.Ayuda
- General help with running the place, dealing with tourists, culture hub (open-air cinema, gigs, parties, workshops, lectures, exhibitions, etc), mini hostel & campsite. Starting from 1st of June until end of October.
- Chef with some knowledge of cooking vegetarian and vegan meals for up to 10 people.
- Animal care since we got a little farm of ponies and goats, we could use a responsible hand to help us out with taking care of them.
- Raft drivers, strong and responsible individuals to help us with transporting tourists across the river with the big raft.
- Artistic people who would like to express themselves by having their own little projects from wood or some other material are very welcome on our project. Making wooden sculptures & decorations from driftwood would be awesome, as well as helping with making signs around the property.
- Carpenters to help us build a beach bar, furniture in general for the cultural hub, decorations, etc from river wood are very welcome.
- People with instruments are always welcome. Creating our little band to play around the fire in the evening would be great too.
In general, anyone ready to leave the place a bit better is more than welcome. We prefer letting people choose their tasks or little projects, forming a group and working on it. Self-initiative. is very appreciated and we will always support it. If you don't feel confident enough to do it alone, you can always join a team and learn something new.
In the summer months (starting from May/June) we will have two shifts depending on the team you chose or a little project you select to be part of.
Hit us with a message, we are very excited to have you here.Idiomas

The property is just 22km from the town of Kraljevo, half an hour away by bus available during the whole day if you feel like having a draft beer, meeting some locals, or partying for the weekend.
On the way to town, you can check out the grand XII century monastery, where our 7 Kings were crowned in medieval ages, and it's just 10 min of walking from grandma's house.
For hikers, there is a 7/8 hours trek starting from a property that leads to the peak of the mountain Stolovi where wild horses freely live for decades, as well as a medieval trek up the creek throughout the untouched nature with waterfalls and natural pools.
Lots of natural swimming pools, gorgeous creeks & waterfalls.
Tubing and rafting are available too, and we are loving it.
We tend to work hard and enjoy life in the same manner when a proper opportunity arises.Un poco más de información
