Welcome to my home, nestled between the sea and the forest in one of Quebec's most breathtaking regions. Located on the shores of the St. Lawrence Gulf, the area is known for its endless beaches, dramatic sunsets, and proximity to the stunning Chic-Chocs mountains — a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor adventurers.
I live in a house surrounded by open fields and woodland, with direct access to both tranquility and raw beauty. There’s a lot of potential here — I have a plot of land and many ideas, but very little experience in gardening or tree care. That's where you might come in!
I’d love to welcome someone who can lend a hand with a wide range of small everyday tasks: landscaping, berry picking, general housework, food preservation, minor indoor repairs, or even keeping an eye on the kids from time to time.
You’ll be part of a relaxed, welcoming environment, with the chance to enjoy the peaceful rhythm of rural life, while being immersed in a rich natural and cultural setting.

Bienvenue chez moi, une maison nichée entre la mer et la forêt dans l’une des plus belles régions du Québec. Située au bord du golfe du Saint-Laurent, la région est reconnue pour ses plages infinies, ses couchers de soleil spectaculaires et sa proximité avec les magnifiques montagnes Chic-Chocs — un vrai paradis pour les amoureuses de nature et d’aventure.
Je vis dans une maison entourée de champs et de forêt, avec un accès direct à la tranquillité et à la beauté sauvage. J’ai un terrain et plein d’idées… mais peu de connaissances en jardinage ou en entretien des arbres. C’est là que tu pourrais m’aider!
Je cherche quelqu’un qui pourrait me donner un coup de main pour toutes sortes de petites tâches du quotidien : aménagement paysager, cueillette de petits fruits, ménage, conservation des aliments, petits travaux intérieurs, ou encore surveillance d’enfants à l’occasion.
Tu serais accueillie dans une ambiance simple, détendue et chaleureuse, avec l’occasion de vivre au rythme de la nature tout en découvrant une région riche en paysages et en culture.

Living here means being immersed in the culture of costal Québec — close to nature, simple pleasures, and evolving local traditions. You’ll have the chance to practice or improve your French, discover local foods, and learn about life in a remote coastal region that moves to the rhythm of the seasons.
As for me, I’m always curious about different ways of living and seeing the world. I’d love to hear your stories, your recipes, your music — and maybe learn a few words in your language too!
We can cook together, share meals, explore the outdoors, or just take time to talk about life.

Here, tasks vary with the seasons and your interests. Some of the things I might need help with include:
– Basic landscaping (like weeding, mulching, planting)
– Picking berries or wild herbs
– General cleaning and housework
– Light food prep or food preservation
– Small indoor repairs or organizing spaces
– Occasional help with the kids, depending on the day
I’m not looking for perfection, just someone kind and motivated who enjoys contributing. Most tasks are flexible and we’ll decide together what makes sense depending on your skills and the time of year.
I enjoy sharing knowledge and learning new things — so we’ll often work together, and I’d be happy to show you around or help you discover the area. If you have a particular interest (gardening, cooking, carpentry, etc.), let me know — maybe we can turn it into a shared mini-project!

Les tâches changent selon les saisons et selon ce que tu as envie d’apprendre ou de faire. Voici quelques exemples de choses pour lesquelles j’aurais besoin d’un coup de main :
– Jardinage de base (désherbage, paillis, plantations)
– Cueillette de petits fruits ou d’herbes sauvages
– Ménage ou entretien léger de la maison
– Préparation de nourriture ou conservation
– Petits travaux ou rangement dans la maison
– Surveillance occasionnelle des enfants, selon les journées
Je ne cherche pas quelqu’un de parfait, mais plutôt une personne gentille, débrouillarde et motivée à contribuer. On pourra ajuster les tâches selon ce que tu préfères faire, tes forces, et la période de l’année.
J’aime partager ce que je sais et apprendre des autres — on travaillera souvent ensemble, et j’aimerais que ça reste une expérience agréable, simple et enrichissante. Si tu as un talent ou une passion, dis-le moi, on pourra peut-être en faire un petit projet à deux!

You’ll have your own private room in the house, simple but comfortable, with a real bed and clean bedding. The house is lived-in and warm, with beautiful natural light and the sound of the sea just outside. We share the bathroom and kitchen, and there’s good Wi-Fi if needed.
I cook most meals at home, and we’ll usually share them together — though you’re welcome to cook your own dishes too if you’d like! I try to keep meals healthy and homemade, with a mix of local ingredients and simple comfort food.
The atmosphere here is quiet and relaxed. You’ll have time and space for yourself, as well as chances to share moments, meals, or outings together.

I live with my two children, who are 7 and 12 years old. They are curious, active, and would love to meet new people. The house can sometimes be lively, so this is probably not the best fit if you’re looking for complete quiet at all times — though there’s always space for solitude, and the nature around is very calming.
I’m ideally looking for someone who’s comfortable being around kids and who enjoys a sometimes chaotic family-style environment. No smoking inside or around the house. I ask that guests help keep common areas clean and respect a peaceful atmosphere in the evenings.

Digital nomads are welcome, as long as you're comfortable balancing some help during the day with your remote work. The Wi-Fi is reliable for video calls and basic online tasks, and there's a quiet space you can use to work, though it's not a private office. We can arrange a flexible schedule together that works for both sides.
