Small farm, horses, sheep, a cow or 2. My family is just me and my husband. We have a small dog. Small house. Just a small quaint property. We are located in the less boring part of Saskatchewan with hills and valleys. Our farm is very quiet compared to others. No traffic or neighborhood noises, just nature and the odd truck driving by.
We do work monday-friday and are gone from 7 to 5 those days.

You will learn to care for sheep, Learn to care for horses, possibly riding.
Learn the basic upkeep on a small farm, fencing, painting, cleaning up, there's always something to do!
In summer we bale hay. You'll help run the machinery and haul square bales from the field to the yard.
Learn what it's like to live away from civilization. The closest town is a 45minute drive.
See the beauty and silence the prairies have to offer.
On a clear night you can see the stars, we have no light or sound pollution.

In our house. We have 1 full room. Shared accommodations otherwise. Washer/dryer/shower/bathroom/kitchen all shared.
There isn't much for transportation off farm.
Edmonton Alberta is a 3 hour drive
Calgary Alberta is a 6 hour drive.
We spend most days doing farm work, riding the horses, there's a local beach we go to occasionally. Trips to Edmonton every couple months.
