Hello!
I live on Askøy an Island outside of Bergen. A lovely country area. I am a yogateacher and I do ceramics. I have a lot of projects only outside the house like gardening and woodworking.
I have been living here since november 2020. I have renovated the whole house. It`s a beautiful architect drawn house from 1977. I live here with 2 sweet & friendly cats. So you have to like cats :-)
It is so quiet here, i really appreciate silence and nature. Hope you will too.
I always have projects going on around the house. I just love projects and possibilities
Now it’s cleaning up around the house, after winter, trimming bushes grown wild,and chopping up trees I already have chopped down and piling them in order to dry. 😀
Important:
1) I only accept couples.
2) Needed skills: You need to be handy/ practical, like gardening, can chop wood/ cut down smaller trees and like to work outside. Maybe easy carpenting?
3) Have a positive attitude.
4) You have to like cats. 🐈
5) You must be reliable and be able to work on your own.
6) You must be tidy and non smoking. You clean out the flat after your stay.
You will be working alone most of the time, since I have other projects and work 😄 But love to join when possible and work together with you.
You will have your own appartment on the ground floor 50 square metres with your own entrance. Please note that you clean the flat after tour stay. I will wash the linnen and towels.
Some dinners we eat together otherwise i will peovide vegetarian food, so that you can make dinner in that flat. Lile salads, soup, pasta. Breakfast and lunch is bread/ cereal/ muesli / oats on your own provided by me.
The nature amazing and there are many hikingroutes and sightseeing to do. The bussstop is 3 minutes from my house. It takes a 45 minute bussride to Bergen. And it’s approx 5 minute walk to the fjord.

Enjoy both Bergen and Askøy. So much to see, experience, explore and hikes to be hiked. The bus goes often, bus stop is 300m from my house.

I offer a separate apartment in my house, 50 square meters. The house is on the Island Askøy, right outside Bergen. My house is close to the sea, and surrounded by nature. Many hiking tours in the area.
