  hi you may help actually in April and May with campfires burn, waterbasin clean, garden plant. fence fit and gate build, clearing, sweeping, raking in and around the yard
  
  I live in a green part of Portugal and have long term experience in Organic farming, Permaculture, self-sufficient garden and fields. Donkey, dogs, cats, geese and chicken live well here. Self supporting energy (photovoltaic + hydro power) and water sources (spring, river), not connected with the public lines. Wood heating and forest management, hectares of landscape and woods. My adult, autistic son also lives here inconspicuously
  A fun & relax parc on the beach by the Rio Dão runs in summer as a guest house and tiny-scale Camping.
  
  : There are various ways you can get involved:
  At least 4 hours per day
  1 volunteer minimum 1 week
  2 volunteers maximum 1 week
  keep your room clean or some help with meals is taken for granted by you
  
  2 h by day for free camping offered for groups or single person each length of stay
  
  *** a own (simple) house for a long term helper (1-2) for 10 hours by week caretaker/ rural helper is offered
  
  You can make visits in the neighbourhood at cooperative projects, markets or in the district capital Viseu
