I live in a rural area in middle Norway with nice view over the Trondheimsfjord. My project is to transform the area around my house (2000 sqm) in a permaculture garden. In 2016 I learned about permaculture and did the PDC. I live in a nice house with my 3 cats. It is very quiet. Beside the permaculture project I am a gynecologist/obstetrician, specialised in fetal medicine and working at the universityhospital in Trondheim. I am interested in nature, botanic, to grow plants, to understand the organism humic soil. I would like to be self-sustaining to live from the crops I am growing in my garden and can collect from the forest. Last not least, I`m a german, in 1999 I moved to Norway; german people can write the application in german :-).
MY NEW PROJECT 2022
I still have the above project but I am moving to a new place nearby Trondheim (view the first 7 pictures) and the above project (last 8 pictures) has to move too and this is my theme in 2022: moving house and garden. A lot of work, the new area is bigger (6400 sqm), a small farm and I am starting from scratch. There are no beds or a field ready to grow plants. This will be the main work, to prepare the ground/soil. And 1000`s of other things to do. I am starting to become a bekeeper and I already have got 7 beehives at my new place. I do not really know how to manage all that...
IMPORTANT
I can host 1-2 people at the same time for 4 nights/3 days but no longer stays. Don`t apply if you are looking for a place you can stay longer than 3-4 days.

Learn about permaculture principles. Doing permaculture in practice. Interesting culture around, nice hiking area. Nearby Trondheim.
I need help to start a permaculture garden at my new place. Preparing the field/beds (no digg method, working with broadfork), building a fence, make a path and levelling som areas for better way thru) from old slates (further roof), prepare compost area, etc. Help with moving house and garden. Harvesting fruits, collecting mushrooms and berries.
I expect interest in organic farming, it would be nice with a little experience in how to handle plants. You must like cats.

I offer bedrooms in my house. Join my bathroom and kitchen. I do not buy meat. Vegetarian meals (ovo-lakto) + fish.
Værnes airport (TRD) is 45 minutes by car or train (Åsen train station). Trondheim is 80 km south from my place, I am working there and can shuttle people to and from the trainstation, airport and Trondheim on my way to work or way home. The next trainstation is Åsen and there is a special transport arrangement from the commune: a taxi that you have to order (I have to do this for you the day before) will pick you up at the train station and bring you directly to my house and the other way around. It is cheap (40-60kr). Frosta is a peninsula in the Trondheimsfjorden and nice for hiking, bicycle tour, kayaking, fishing, Viking culture, bird sanctuary on Tautra, monastery ruins on Tautra, etc.
2022. New place (Bratsberg) just 15 km from Trondheim centre. Bus from my place in Bratsberg to Trondheim city.
