Hey Guys,
WE HAVE TWO CATS AND A DOG WITH FREE ACCESS in THE HOUSE!
I'm Ricardo I used to be a workaway, and now it is the time for me to have my own project, and I would really appreciate your help =)
We had worked with workawayers for the last 10 years! Here IS a mix of student house mixed and a Hostel! (and as a hostel if we have some special events happening in the city such as lollapalooza, gay pride parade etc.
We are located in the center of the city, 5 minutes by walking from the first touristic point
We need someone to help us with renovating, organization and cleaning. I will try to work with you guys on the project with all duties. It's not gonna be a hard working (hope so) but if it does you can be sure that you won't be alone hehe
We are looking for someone who has some reception, building, painting, gardening, or cleaning skills
Reception Position - (cleaning and organization asked)
breakfast and lunch included for the Workawayers
We can host around 6 Workawayers with us!
And we have 2 local workers in the place, one líder of reception, and one responsible for laundry
We are a gay friendly environment

As Sao Paulo being one of the biggest city of the world there are a lot to do and a lot of places to visit!
We are in the city centre only 5 minutes from the first site the biggest Equestrian monument of the world and the old government palace (that is the favela museum and it is open to population) here is a very multicultural street where Brazilians from all parts of Brazil choose to live in! Santa Cecilia is one of the most famous neighborhood of são Paulo knows a bohemic district with a lot of young and very opened mind people
Aide
Help with cleaning and organization, drywall projects (screwing drywall boards basically), painting walls, small renovations as painting old furniture.
Reception: Cleaning, check in and check out, cleaning, tell about touristic points of São Paulo, cleaning, make the break fast table, cleaning.

5 minutes by walking we have Museu das Favelas, biggest equestrian monument of the world, and keep shortly walking distance we have the old prison worked during the military dictatorship, Luz train station, 25 de Março, Largo são bento, Patio do Colégio, Sé catedral, Japonese district (biggest japonese Community out of japan), viaduto do Chá, municipal theater.
2 minutes from Minhocão ( the biggest construction of São Paulo) it is a kind of a bridge kind of a road, and it became a park on weekends and hollydays
7 minutes by bus from parque da agua branca (possible to go by walking) it is a farm park in the center of são Paulo, over a Thousand chicken free in the park, ducks, peacocks, horses, lake with fishes.
The beach is 1H30min by car ( Santos)
Waterfalls are 1H30min by train (paranapiacaba)
Hiking 1hr by local bus ( pico do jaragua)
eco parks 1hr by local bus (Parque ecologico tiete, horto florestal)
Close to our place there are places to eat, supermarket, mall, pubs, clubs, the subway station is only 5 minutes by walking, the bus station is only 5 minutes by walking, Av. Paulista is two station from here, we are 10 minutes by walking from the historical centre of São Paulo.
Av. Paulista is 3 stations from the hostel! +-1 dollar the ticket
Ibirapuera Park the is the biggest Urban Park in South america and one of the most photographed places of the world is $3 Dollars by Uber or 1 dollar by bus (15 minutes +-)

Ricardo é um ótimo anfitrião, vai te falar do que está rolando de bom nas proximidades e sempre com muita paciência. O hostel fica perto do metrô e você pode conhecer gente de todo o mundo. Os pets da casa são super dóceis. Recomendo demais.

Had to leave 2 days after my arrival because I wanted to go south to the beach but I'm gonna stay with Ricardo when I get back São Paulo again. I spent two great weeks with Ricardo in his lovely hostel in SP. And i came back for a week in January. My tasks were to work at the reception, which i really enjoyed. I spent 10 days with Ricardo and Clau and I really enjoyed it! They both are very kind and friendly people, always worried that you enjoy your stay there! The hostel itself is very nice too! There's a very good atmosphere there! I really recommend you to go there if you think of spending some time in Sao Paulo!

Casey is a really nice person, helped us a lot building bunks, painting, and he fixed all our electrical sockets, something that we've been trying to fix for a long time =) so we are very very grateful ! Had great fun, Ricardo is very entertaining, he cooks well, and makes you feel at home. His father is keen to teach Portuguese and also adds to the homely feel. I spent three weeks with them, and really really enjoyed my stay! The work is easy going, and clau, Ricardo's dad is always there to help, and show you what needs doing. Great fun, must do!

It was really nice to have Stefan with us, he is very good painting, and he did a schedule of the works that should be done, and we could progrees faster with the things here =) it was also very nice going for some pints with him xD he is very welcome back here, and you should definitely invite him to join in your project!

My experience was good, had some great 2 weeks in Sao Paulo. Ricardo is a host who takes good care of you. Show's the city and the nice places to go. In the middle of the center, near subway station, supermarket, etc.

I stayed for 19 days, Ricardo and Clau (dad) this good (very) persons, Clau speak me all the time the city, your culture, and ours work, and he show me the city near areas.. thank you so much! :) ... Clau he was very good with me!
