We’re looking for responsible, nature-loving house sitters to care for our peaceful home and garden while we’re away this November and December.
Our place is located in Kalpitiya, just a 5-minute walk from the beach, surrounded by palm trees, ocean breeze, and birdsong.
What you’ll do:
– Mow the lawn and keep the garden tidy
– Water plants and care for the outdoor space
– Keep the house clean and well-maintained
What we offer:
– Private accommodation in a simple, comfortable house surrounded by nature
– A quiet, off-grid lifestyle — perfect to slow down and enjoy deep rest
– Fully equipped kitchen for self-cooking
– Short walk to the beach, with beautiful sunsets and local life nearby
We ask for a minimum stay of one month (November or December).
Ideal for individuals or couples who enjoy solitude, nature, and simple living close to the ocean.
If you’re looking to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience coastal Sri Lanka in its pure essence, we’d love to hear from you.

Kalpitiya is a quiet fisher town with beautiful beaches & a perfect kitesurfing spot during the season (May-Oct & Dec-Mar).
Everything you need is within a 15 minutes walk (small supermarkets, vegetable shop, restaurants & cafes, etc.)
It’s the only kitesurfing spot in Sri Lanka.
Kitesurfing is a physically demanding sport that requires strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance. It's a lifestyle that encourages a healthy body and mind, as it challenges both physical abilities and mental focus.
In short, the kitesurfing lifestyle is about pursuing freedom, adventure, fitness, and a strong sense of connection to nature and community.

I mostly cooked, baked, cleaned and what else had to be done. It was very easy and you got a lot of freetime aswell.
