We are the primary public school in Ang Thong province in central Thailand. We need volunteer English teacher to help the local English teacher to teach basic English conversation for the daily use, and verbal communication. The school have 200 orphans children from the 1st grade to the 6th grade. You will be working side-by-side with the monks and local teacher, the prior teaching experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity for English speaker to learn about Thai culture and language, as well as Buddhism.

This is an opportunity to explore the beautiful surrounding Thai temples, in contact with the native surrounding the rice field, and learning Buddhism. You will enjoy the various Thai cuisine provide by the kitchen staff at the school, and a host in the community.
The volunteer will have the opportunity to learn about Thai cultures, language history and practice Buddhism. At your free time you will have chance to visit amazing sight in Bangkok such as the Grand Palace, Wat Po, the Emeral Buddha Temple, and the River Village around wat Arun. In addition you may travel to visit several rule history site in nearby province such as Sukhothai Found in 1300, and The old capital Ayutthaya kingdom found in 1351. Beautiful tropical beach in Pataya, and Hua Hin are also reachable.

We need your help teaching basic English conversation to the Student and the Monks. There are approximately 200 students range from first grade through the sixth grade. We are looking for a native English speaker to interact with the student and to help practice language conversation skills. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the students learn direct from native English speaker. Students currently learn how to read/write English from local teachers. Volunteers will help support local teachers mainly to interact with students and practice English conversation skills. At the same time volunteers will have a opportunity to learn Thai culture and Buddhism.

We spend a wonderfull time with the kids at the temple. Interacting, creating and playing games with the younger ones at day times was so much fun.
