We are a widely traveled family of five (kids 12, 10 and 5) in the western part of Finland always ready to make new friends around the world! Come join us for a great stay enjoying the countryside and experience the Finnish culture!
You are free to hang out with our animals, drive a four wheeler around the small roads, sup-board or row a boat at our near by river side cottage (that can also be your home if you prefer simple and rustic life without running hot water and indoor toilet but a lot of peace and quiet during the summer), ski, swim in an ice hole, ride a bike, hike or take part in the many art and culture activities that are going on in our town 7 kms away from our house or go treasure hunting in the many amazing second hand shops of the area (no public transport but we can give you a ride if needed). We also get to admire northern lights on most winters and spot wildlife like moose, deer, foxes and big birds during summer from our yard.

We can introduce you to our culture and the Finnish way of life. You will leave with good memories and new friends!

We have three horses, two outdoor cats and one happy dog that all love the extra attention! We invite you to make yourself at home and live like you were part of the family. If you want to help with tidying up etc that is very much apperciated. You are also very welcome to cook if you enjoy and help take care of the animals to some extent. We also like to work in our garden during summer.
Our kids love to spend time with our guests and will invite you to play straight away!

Acomodação
You will have your own room in our house. Bathroom and kitchen will be shared. During the summer you can also stay in our 150 yr old log cottage in a beautiful setting a couple of kilometers away from our house if you prefer.
You will be eating with our family.

Lina stayed with us for 5 days and she was able to take care of our horses, cats and dog independently. She also cooked us a tasty meal once and helped with some cleaning. She is very nice and social and we were sorry she had to cut her stay short due to a family emergency.

Sybille stayed with us for 5 weeks in the mid winter and was a great help to us! She was always ready to help with everything, with a smile on her face.
