Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit bei Isabell und ihren Kindern! Ich habe mich willkommen gefühlt, wurde bei meiner Freizeitplanung unterstützt und habe auch in meiner Freizeit was mit ihnen gemacht. Isabell ist sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und offen und ihre Kinder sind sehr umgänglich und ebenfalls offen :) Meine Aufgaben beschränkten sich v.a. auf

Isabell and her family have welcomed me into their home with open arms and we spent 5 wonderful weeks together.
The kids are extremely lovable, well-mannered and fun to be around and Isabell, an incredibly kind, positive and inspiring woman, always had an open ear for me and was ready to help in word and deed whenever she could.

… read more been assigned were very versatile and manageable and the free time can be used to explore Kreuzlingen and it's beautiful surroundings.
My time with Isabell and her kids was frankly not long enough, which is why I'm happy that we decided to stay in touch.

Sandra war für fünf Wochen als workaway in unserer Familie. Ursprünglich hatten wir angedacht, dass Sandra für eine Woche bleibt, um den Garten frühlingsfit zu machen. … read more ist eine wirklich liebevolle, zuvorkommende, unfassbar ordentliche und strukturierte Person. Sie hat sich nicht nur als sehr talentiert bei der Gartenarbeit gezeigt, vielmehr hat sie eine sehr außergewöhnliche Begabung, wenn es darum geht, Schränke zu strukturieren und zu ordnen. Wir alle haben sie durch ihre herzliche Art sofort in unser Herz geschlossen und freuen uns sehr, dass Sie Ihr nächstes Domizil nicht weit entfernt von uns hat und uns immer wieder besuchen kann.
Außerdem möchte ich noch ihren liebevollen Umgang mit unserem Hund erwähnen.
Unser Haus steht immer offen für dich liebe Sandra und du weißt, dass du jederzeit bei uns einen Platz hast!

I lived with Isabell, Mika and Leni from October to December 2023 and had a wonderful stay there!
Isabell has a wonderful family and was very open and quick to adapt me into it.
My work primarily consisted of cooking and cleaning for the family and in return she helped me find friends through her contacts, helped me explore different regions
… read more of the country and I was always welcome to come along their trips to get around the country.

Ona spent two weeks with our family before Christmas. She is a really very warm person, we really enjoyed having her in our family. She was a great help to me with household tasks, cooking and was a great playmate for the children. We wish you only the very best for your future. All future families will be lucky to meet Ona.

I spent two lovely weeks in Isabell’s home last December and I’m very grateful for the experience I’ve had.
Isabell made me feel comfortable and at home since the very beginning and was always making sure I was okay and that I had enough free time to explore the surroundings and meet people nearby. The kids were also very friendly, especially the
… read more little one, with whom I got the opportunity to spend more time, playing and laughing.
The house is just a few steps from a forest and 7 min walking from the train station, from where you can easily take a train to Constance or go anywhere else in Switzerland. The food was always delicious, fresh and straight from the market. When it comes to the work, it never felt like too much or too hard. It mainly consisted on making sure the kitchen and the house in general were clean, doing laundry and taking the dog on a walk in the evenings.
Altogether, I had a great experience and I would really recommend it.

Family friends for life. Everything was great, company was great and Izzy’s family now feels like family to me also. I’m already looking forward to going back next month to visit them and help out as much as I can!
