  DECEMBER 2026 to MARCH 2027
  We are looking for 4 people: 2 x full-time staff and 2 x Workawayers. All will have free warm and clean accommodation plus daily cooked breakfast, among other perks (full-time staff will be paid & Workawayers will be paid for any additional hours - both at above Japanese minimum wage). As such, all must have a valid working holiday visa. Ideally, all have an international driver's permit too. Please understand that we are only able to consider those who are comfortable with a 3-month commitment (mid-December to mid-March). Please get in touch and specify whether you're interested in full-time, Workawayer, or either.
  
  We are a Japanese/Australian couple who need help during the winter. Myoko Kogen is famous for its powder snow and so the main attraction is skiing/boarding from December through March.
  
  We have both worked in tourism for many years and as such, we enjoy meeting (and look forward to hosting) self-motivated, positive, and respectful travellers and hearing of their travels and experiences. We have a young daughter and we're situated in a quiet neighbourhood so not suitable for those who are looking to enjoy nightlife, etc.,.
  
  We need help with chores such as cleaning and possibly babysitting (any childcare experience would be valuable). Any Japanese language ability would be favourable but not absolutely necessary.

  Staying with us in Myoko Kogen will give you the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture, language and cuisine. For skiers and snowboarders, it is a powder paradise with huge snowfalls each winter.
  
  We speak English and Japanese at home and so there is the opportunity to learn a bit of Japanese. You'll also meet people from all over the world.

  We are looking for those who are engaged, dynamic, open-minded, responsible, communicative, tidy and honest. Work will include general maintenance, help around the house, snow clearing and perhaps babysitting (if experienced).
  
  Any Japanese language ability would be favourable but not absolutely necessary. At least 1 applicant must have an International Driver's Permit.
