Eder stayed for a month at the farm. I had a great experience with him. He did a really great job for any task I asked him. Perfect work with rebuilding fences for my animals, creating a new park for them, feeding them with care every day. Perfect work with painting walls, or cleaning an old wood heater to replace mine.

… read more do hard job also. He is a quick worker and do anything with perfection. He adapts really to everything, very flexible with schedules also.
He is very respectful of my privacy and the rules at home. Always doing the dishes, even the ones of my baby girl.
Always in good mood and ready for any tasks I had for him, trustfully person, even to keep an eye on my daughter.
He is very kind and gentle.
I fully recommend Eder and I would welcome him again anytime at the farm. We will miss him when he will left.

Miguel stayed two weeks at home and it was so nice to host him.
Always smiling, weeling to help for any task I could ask him, always on time (more than me 😅) and incredible how Hé was able to speak perfectly french, spanish or english.
Miguel left me an amazing feedback and left his room tide and clean.

The whole volunteering experience with you has been great, but knowing you as a person brings even more value to my life. You're the most smiling and warmest European I've met so far!
Marie is such an interesting person. With all her
… read more travels and experiences, one can learn a lot by just talking to her.
No wonder she has many friends! She's generous in every sense of the word. It didn't feel like she's a "host", but rather a good friend with whom I was living with.
I admire what she has achieved in the farm, I called her a 'visionary' before and i think it's very fitting.
Some of the tasks were picking pumpkins, maintaining the garden, painting the wood, and cutting trees and grass.
The environment in the farm is very chill and laid-back. The scenery is beautiful. And the view of the stars at night is unparalleled.
One Saturday we went to the market in the center of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and it was very enjoyable because there were tons of stalls selling diverse local food.
Marie cooks so well. I was privileged to be able to taste her healthy and sumptuous French dishes, as well as her beautiful pastries. Her meticulously made macarons, I believe, could make its case for being one of the best in France!
Anyway, I hope I bump into you in the future, whether in Sichuan with the pandas or in Moscow with some vodka. :D

Tout d'abord, Marie, je tiens à te remercier de m'avoir acceptée comme bénévole et de nous avoir traités comme une famille.
Toute cette expérience de workaway avec toi a été formidable, mais te connaître en tant que personne apporte encore plus de valeur à ma vie. Tu es l'Européenne la plus souriante et la plus chaleureuse que j'ai rencontrée jusqu'à présent !
Marie est une personne tellement intéressante. Avec tous ses voyages et ses expériences, on peut apprendre beaucoup de choses rien qu'en parlant avec elle.
Pas étonnant qu'elle ait beaucoup d'amis ! Elle est généreuse dans tous les sens du terme. Je n'ai pas eu l'impression qu'elle était un "hôte", mais plutôt une bonne amie avec qui je vivais.
J'admire ce qu'elle a réalisé dans la ferme, je l'ai déjà qualifiée de "visionnaire" et je pense que c'est très approprié.
Certaines des tâches consistaient à cueillir des citrouilles, à entretenir le jardin, à peindre le bois et à couper les arbres et l'herbe.
L'environnement de la ferme est très détendu et décontracté. Le paysage est magnifique. Et la vue des étoiles la nuit est inégalable.
Un samedi, on est allés au marché dans le centre de Bagnères-de-Bigorre et c'était très agréable parce qu'il y avait des tonnes de stands vendant des produits locaux variés.
Marie cuisine si bien. J'ai eu le privilège de pouvoir goûter à ses plats français sains et somptueux, ainsi qu'à ses magnifiques pâtisseries. Ses macarons méticuleusement réalisés pourraient, je crois, prétendre à être l'un des meilleurs de France !

Where to start?
Marie is an incredible host. We laugh, we laugh and ... well we also worked and laugh again. She is a very focused person. Her project really looks is moving her for every activity she is doing (is in her hart). She is always smiling and even when she is in pressure for many activities (she has to do), she is a person with a lot

I had the pleasure she liked my stairs I made, the first stairs I have made in my life with rocks. I moved a lot of rocks yes to finish her terrasses too and also I have helped in moving many heavy pieces of wood, cutting grass with brush cutter, I made a looot of physical work, and you know what? I did not needed a gym here, I am so happy for the results in my body, I feel so strong and the views from her house to the mountains are speechless even in cloudy days.
Bread made by his friend, you can find local products with very high quality around, every person I have met here where so kind. I did feel I was letting friends not behind but new friends added home :)

He was also super helpfull to open a rocky (again!) floor and made a nice proper hole in a wall, that I asked hm, of course :) He always thinks and asks all necessaries questions cleverly before starting something. He was also autonomus and respectfull of my space and time, while I had not a lot of those.
He is super kind to animals and people, even if they are under stress, like I'am sometimes.
One of the best workawayer I had the luck to host :)

Marie (as well as Celine, Joey and Shakti) was a very good host. The communication was pretty good and we managed to stay flexible even though our respective plans were changing quite a lot. There was a lot of different work to do, so I could choose what was the most satisfying for me. Definitely worth recommendation.
