Dóra & Gábor were so lovely to have around. They were so competent with each of the tasks that we asked them to help with. They had common sense which is just amazing. The work that they did was of an exceptional standard and completed with care. We really enjoyed having them stay with us and wish them all the best for the rest of their travels.

This one week stay was a piece of paradise for us. Chris and Eddie are amazing mulitalented people with personalities you wants to meet. They life, they house, they beautiful garden, the view, their dogs are dream. The area is beautiful, calm and quiet which was exactly what we needed for a few settled days in between 2 roadtrips. … read more were very suitable for our skills and talents, that we highly appreciated and so enjoyed the works a lot. I (Dora) got an art project making some old furniture reborn and Gabor got a building project that he loves doing especially with the high quality tools that Chris has.
We got plenty of options to make breakfast and lunch and Chris spoiled us with fantastic meals every night. I am vegan but he had no problem to cook for me too. We enjoyed the evenings we spent together the most, as they have amazing travel stories and interesting insights about NZ. We loved this stay so much and would highly recommend. Hope to see you again in the future, good luck and all the best. (Let us know if you come to Europe next time 🥰)

Chris and Ed are wonderful hosts. We stayed at their place for 2 weeks and I learned a lot during that time. The house/surroundings are beautiful, the daily amount of work was reasonable and diverse, and Chris is an amazing cook. Not to mention their extremely adorable dogs Phoenix and Daenerys. Peter is a genuinely enthusiastic young man who is extremely polite and conscientious. He took on all of the tasks we had and also accepted feedback as he went which helped him learn a few new things along the way.

I had a great time with Chris and Eddy. They were very welcoming and I was really comfortable on their amazing property, exactly what I needed for my first workaway. They're foodies so their fridge was always stocked with fun stuff for lunch and they cooked lovely evening meals. I even got to experience some island food with Eddie's family who

Whilst I was there Chris set me up to building a small bridge at the bottom of their garden, teaching me all the new skills I needed to do it and letting me get on with it. Most evenings ended up with Eddie and I on the sofa watching British reality TV and having a laugh. I had a great stay in Paerata, which came about at short notice. The two have a wonderful home and are very friendly and helpful. In the evenings there was always a very tasty meal that Chris prepared. They are also happy to help on excursions and the work was very varied and adapted to the weather. I can definitely recommend a stay
