Dario and Mimma are incredibly kind and friendly and I really recommend a stay. We worked together maintaining their rich and colorful garden which also comprises two wonderful quarries and is animated with life. Over the month Juan spent with us, we knew him and we got a very good impression of him as person. He is skilled, and resourceful person. One month flew so fast and many things been done! Very good experience.

Dario and Mimma were very kind and friendly to me. I spent a month and a few days with Mimma, and it was a wonderful experience. With Mimma, we worked every day cleaning her immense garden, tidying up her house, and we also went shopping in the town center. I highly recommend Mimma and Dario to those Workawayers who want to have a beautiful experience volunteering and exploring a small but beautiful island like Favignana. I spent a week with Dario and Mimma at the start of May, and it was a wonderful experience! The island of Favignana is incredibly beautiful and fun to explore. On our first day Dario gave me a tour of the island by car, and I later had the opportunity to explore it more on foot, with a rented scooter, and on a boat excursion (highly recommend all
… read more the above). The work consisted mainly of raking in the large garden surrounding the house. Dario and Mimma were very welcoming and kind, cooking abundant and delicious meals, sharing so much of the local food culture, and giving endless recommendations and tips to help me make the most of the experience. I was also able to practice and improve my Italian through our many conversations.
