We have been hosting via workaway since 2017, it is a happy experience and we have met people of all ages and from all over the world. Each of them with their help has been of great help to develop our project and we feel great gratitude towards them and we hope to have helped them in their stay in Italy, to have been supportive and that they have good memories of their experience with we
I want every guest who comes to our house to be happy and have a pleasant stay and that is why it is ESSENTIAL TO CAREFULLY READ MY PROFILE, THE KIND OF HELP REQUIRED, THE CONDITIONS.
We welcome enthusiastic, positive, honest, tidy, clean, polite volunteers who have experience in manual work, gardening and want to clean the house carefully. We don't like lazy, messy, dirty people who don't follow the rules; we have verified that our relationship with them cannot work and we do not want tensions, reproaches because we want to live harmoniously. It is important to respect our spaces, our privacy. I want this to be clear to avoid unnecessary travel, wasted time, disruption of stay and unpleasant situations.
I'm very busy in my work, I travel and I can't be there all the time, so I appreciate people who know how to work independently and responsibly and are independent. Overall, I hope to welcome people who represent solutions rather than asking me for new problems to solve. If you are a positive person and respect my space and privacy, you will have great success with me!
My family: my name is Cecilia, I'm a freelancer my husband is a teacher, we have two children who help us in this project.
We live in two historic houses of great charm, both dating back to the 1700s. THE GARDEN IS VERY LARGE, YOU CAN LIVE IN THE NATURE AND BE CLOSE TO THE CITY (500 METERS)
Our project: is to complete the renovation of the house, daily cleaning, do major house cleaning, restore furniture, move furniture, tidy up the gardens, cut weeds, make fences, cut branches.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate families, we cannot accommodate people with addiction issues.
IMPORTANT: WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR CITIZENSHIP, VISA etc.
my level of English is basic, despite this we understood each other with the helpers who only spoke this language

We live in a historic house where important local sculptors lived in the 18th century. the villa is surrounded by a large expanse of land with olive trees and other trees. roe deer, foxes and eagles often come to visit us. In the garden you can run, walk, play sports, yoga or meditation and there are benches where you can read or rest.
The place is very quiet, it is located between Liguria and Tuscany so you can easily visit the tourist resorts of Tuscany such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena and Liguria such as the Gulf of Poets, the Cinque Terre, Genoa.
Near the house there is a bus station and the train station is 4 km away.
We have mountains where you can hike for all levels.
In 5 minutes on foot you can reach the city center, where there are monuments, the Academy of Fine Arts, the swimming pool and gyms. The sea and the beach are only 7 km away.
I have posted photos of what you can find around and will be very happy to give you information on other places to see.
I can help you in Italian by making conversation and answering your questions. we can organize walks to chat. I can teach you some dishes of Italian cuisine (bolognese sauce, but also dishes with pasta and vegetables if you are vegetarian).
At home you can consult a large library of books in Italian and many books talk about painting and sculpture and have many images. if you like I can tell you the history of these places.

People generally work 4/5 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
When you are not working you are completely free to do as you please and have plenty of time to relax and explore the local area.
DIGITAL NOMADS are welcome and we have already successfully hosted them.

you will have at your disposal a single room, with sheets, pillow, duvet, towel (we are organized to accommodate only one person but if you want to come as a couple, that's no problem, but you have to adapt), a shared bathroom, the kitchen (to to be used at times to be agreed), a space for having meals, an immense park. The rest of the house is strictly private.
it is possible that during your stay we will also move to another house in Liguria, where you will always have your private room.
VERY IMPORTANT: the helper must keep their spaces clean and tidy
you will cook your meals independently, I have experienced that this makes you freer in your times and needs (vegans, vegetarians, etc.). we agree on a weekly sum for the purchase of your food independently. if you are a good cook and cook for everyone with what you find at home we love you very much
