Help me learn English or French better in an ancient stone house at the foot of the 5 Terre park in La Spezia, Italy

  Description

  Are you looking for a place where you can take a holiday and visit some of the most beautiful villages in Italy ?
  
  I live in a two-storey house surrounded by greenery, at the foot of the 5 Terre park in Liguria (Italy). A few minutes from my house it is possible to reach magical places bathed by the sea (like the Cinque Terre), or reach the top of some hill to be able to walk and admire the view that literally takes your breath away !
  
  I am especially interested in the enrichment that knowing a new person can give. There are not many jobs to do in the house or in the garden and this will allow the guest to have a lot of free time.
  I hope to meet people whom I can practice speaking English and/or French better, this is very useful for me because every day I have to understand and explain myself to guests who come from all over Europe.
  
  The first floor of my house is used as a Bed and Breakfast and every day has guests from all over Europe who come to visit "The 5 Lands". In any case, the work that is requested of the guest only concerns the garden and the part of the house where I live.
  
  For whom is this experience particularly suitable ? For those who want to take a holiday and perhaps love walking, meditating, looking inside themselves and/or simply getting to know new places and new people. No particular technical skills are required.
  
  I provide a private sofa bed in the living room of the house. Furthermore there is a shared kitchen and bathroom. The house also includes a large garden with table and chairs.
  
  For reasons of space and liveability also with the guests of the Bnb, on the floor where I live I can only accommodate 1 guest.

  I hope to meet people with whom I can enrich internally myself and with whom I can practice speaking English and French better. I can offer the opportunity to fully experience the region of Italy in which I live and get to know, in various social contexts, other Italian people, my friends, who live in my area.
  
  I am particularly interested in the practice of meditation and any discipline aimed at internal self-discovery. If the guest shares the same interest, I am happy to be able to do some meditation together.
  
  Some days I have to follow my guests at the Bnb, play beach tennis and follow some volunteer activities. This indicates that I will not always be present, but despite this I can still dedicate a good part of my time to accompany the guest to experience the area (For example: "5 Terre", Portovenere, Lerici, medieval villages, etc). In times when I cannot be available, I will still provide all the information necessary to make the best use of the free time available.

  I'm looking for someone to help me keep the house and maybe even the 250 square meter garden in order, but it's not necessary for them to know how to do both.

  Even though I have studied English for many years... I can make myself understood on a basic level, but I struggle to express myself and understand it in a deeper way.

  Hébergement

  I provide a double sofa bed in the house where I live for the exclusive use of the guest. Instead, the bathroom and kitchen are shared. In the warm months there is the possibility of using a large shower also in the garden. Only I live on the guest floor of the house.
  The guest's bed is not in a private space, but since I sleep in a room separated by a door it is easily possible to agree and I can give the guest the privacy he/she needs.
  In exchange, I am willing to offer food(*) and accommodation and to accompany the guest to discover the wonderful places in this area.
  
  I follow a vegetarian diet, so I don't keep any meat or fish at home. If the guest likes them, there are still two supermarkets very close to my house where it is possible to buy everything. Here in Spezia, every morning, there is also a famous fresh fish market.
  
  What I can cook for the guest ? Pasta, cereals, fresh vegetables, cooked vegetables or eggs.
  
  I also don't smoke or drink alcohol. If the guest likes to smoke, I have a large garden where they can do so.
  
  (*) Food: Like meals breakfast and dinner are guaranteed to the guest.

  My house is very close to the train station, the ferry and several buses. From the city where I live, La Spezia, it is very easy to reach the following cities by public transport: Carrara, Genoa, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Parma. In your free time, there are plenty of opportunities to visit beaches, swim or walk forest trails. Furthermore, La Spezia also offers a nice nightlife.

  In the warm periods I have a beautiful external veranda in the garden, covered by the Wisteria plant, where there is a large table for working with the computer.
