There are definitely not enough stars to describe the experience with this family! This was my first Workaway exchange as a traveler and I can say that I was lucky enough to meet Michela, Camilla and Luna, who were the perfect match for me.
I felt at home at the very beginning thanks to their kind-hearted, generous and
… read more solar personalities and had the opportunity to discover so much about Italian culture and language, thanks to their patience and willingness to share with me, I also include their relatives met during my stay.
I could write so much more but will conclude with this: if you have the chance to meet them, don’t think twice and go for it, you won’t regret it!

… read more family members who are all extremely friendly, nice people. Michela is very good at organizing and planning stuff. She invited me along to many interesting activities, including going for walks in the city, countryside, family meals and activities at her workplace. She also taught me to cook a few Italian dishes, including tiramisu, cotoletta, carbonara. It was my good fortune to be able to have Michela and her family as my host. Sylvia è stata a casa nostra solo per dieci giorni. Per noi l'obiettivo della sua permanenza era puramente uno scambio culturale e direi che abbiamo colpito appieno l'obiettivo! … read more diverse dalla cultura occidentale. E' una donna indipendente che viaggia molto e si adatta alle diverse abitudini del Paese ospitante. Non le era stato chiesto di fare nessun lavoro in particolare ma si è resa disponibile a fare delle passeggiate con il nostro cane Luna (cosa che ho molto apprezzato, soprattutto al mattino!!), sistemava i piatti della lavastoviglie e ci ha insegnato a fare il sushi! Spero di incontrarla di nuovo... magari a SIngapore!

Cami es una niña adorable, súper divertida e inteligente, nos divertimos muchísimo haciendo dibujos todos los dias haha, practicando sus coreografías de la clase de danza y fue una excelente maestra de Italiano.

They took me to several places that you would not know to go on your own, and for that I am thankful!
