Hello all!
My name is Sarah and I love travelling, intercultural exchanges and discoveries of all kinds. I had the opportunity to study a semester in Malaysia, to work in Sweden and to discover some European cities, and I want more. Curious and interested in different cultures,I am open to new encounters and like to learn new things!
I like long nature walks but also getting lost in the alleys of the cities I visit, discovering the history of a place and its identity… and taste local specialties of course (confessions of a foodie)
I would say I am calm, open-minded, attentive, flexible and like to adapt to all situations, which traveling allows me to refine a little more each time!
About my hobbies, I am a lover of simple things who literally finds happiness in a forest adventure, a shell hunting or starring at a beautiful sunset, or a good book. These romantic details aside, I appreciate creative activities, drawing, trying new recipes, baking in general, inspiring quotes, writing (blogposts, articles about symbolism & metaphysics ), taking pictures of happy feet enjoying a nice landscape (see pictures for more details), among a lot of others, including flowers (the love is real).

Holder of a degree in Applied Foreign Languages, I had the opportunity to have different experiences in France and abroad:
-work with disabled people
- work with asylum seekers and refugees
-Project assistant in Sweden for 1 year
The start of my personal Quest:
After these few years of enriching experiences, I decided to take a break in order to change my path and move towards something that would be more meaningful to me, after a worldwide crisis which led to question many things and put them in perspective, including a search for more harmony and authenticity.
And Workaway, there you came in my life, enriching me at each new adventure and feeding my endless curiosity and willingness to explore the world, discover new cultures, meet amazing people and get to know myself a bit more.
*Workaway experiences so far*
5 experiences in Bergamo, Vicenza , Savona + Noto + Milano in families (kids between 8-13)
1 experience in a family farm in Turkey (seed planting, harvesting, taking care of the soil)
New chapter and interest i want to develop :
the Natural world - planting, harvesting, working with flowers,creating products from scratch and all the knowledge linked to these topics...

There are definitely not enough stars to describe the experience with this family! This was my first Workaway exchange as a traveler and I can say that I was lucky enough to meet Michela, Camilla and Luna, who were the perfect match for me.
