Ah, These pair of funstars ! An absolute pleasure to host. Great helpers too...nothing was a problem for either of them . They enjoyed the dogs and Chloe came for a bush ride on horseback with me . They were a very happy couple who also did a mean crossword...although they do need to come back and finish it. ! Safe travels guys. xx
The best workaway we've been to so far! Shirley and Ueli are wonderful people - welcoming, friendly, and clear with offerings and expectations.
The accommodation was great, super cosy, everything we needed & more.

The work was varied, clear tasks, everything we needed to complete them well, and lovely to have a mid morning tea break too.
We wish we had found them at the start of our Tassie trip rather than the end, we would definitely have stayed & helped for longer.
We loved the dogs, great and small, they're full of character and so much fun.
Shirley & Ueli we can't thank you enough for including us your Tassie life, we will miss you!

I ended up staying for almost two months, and I enjoyed every single day. I’d wake up excited to learn something new.
We worked in the mornings, doing a variety of tasks suited to our individual skills, and had plenty of free time in the afternoons to relax or explore. Their property is huge and beautiful, and they even provided a car to explore the rest of Tasmania.
The meals were always fresh and delicious (Ueli is an amazing cook) and Fridays were pizza nights, something we all looked forward to. The whole atmosphere truly felt like a home away from home.
When they found out about my passion for motorcycles, they surprised me with one. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more.
I can't really express with words how meaningful this was for me. One of the best experiences of my life. One I’ll never forget.Comentário

I had the best time ever at Kookaburra Hill with the fantastic couple who are Shirley and Ueli. Iris and Joel were a delight to host, hardworking, friendly and lots of great chats around the meal table. They were both very respectful and applied themselves to any given task. No matter what it was.

Shirley and Ueli are two wonderful human beings and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their farm. I painted, cooked, helped with the horses, took care of the garden, the yard. I always had delicious food. I was given a tremendous amount of understanding for my outsider nature, while also having the space to be part of a family. We spent time together and Christmas and New Year was one of the best holidays of my life. I spent a month and a half there. And I feel that they will forever be a part of my home and family in my heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time.
Ah what fun these two were ! Always bright and cheery and bantering with us and between themselves, we really enjoyed them. ! We absolutely loved our stay at Shirley and Ueli's amazing and beautiful farm (the pictures don't give it justice)! The workdays flew by and Ueli and Shirley made sure that no day was the same. It was just the best experience ever and we didn't want to leave after nearly three weeks (That's why we came back three days later when we were in the area with our camper van) and I really do hope we'll see each other again soon! All in all a 12/10 experience! Thank you for everything!!!

What to say about these two!!! We had a great time, so many laughs, achieved some goals for both parties and really, decided we should adopt or kidnap and keep them.!
Whilst here, we built a super little shed in the community garden, and a pergola. Luke being a joiner, kept it on the straight and narrow...the cabin is nearly accommodation worthy!

Luke and Araceli purchased a blank camper van which they worked on in the afternoons and free days and they transformed it into a thing of absolute beauty! They both possess a wonderful artistic flair, which made the van a home.

I was in a state of deep shock when I arrived at Shirley and Ueli's place because my previous host had unexpectedly passed while I was workawaying. Seeing him actively walking around to experiencing some physical pains to passing in a matter of few days was traumatizing.
Shirley and Ueli gave me a place to rest and heal against such a background.
… read more They welcomed me at their home like a family member. Their daughters and sons-in-laws are equally warm-hearted. I had a nice cabin to myself with balcony, and I loved hearing and seeing birds chirping while drinking coffee in the balcony in the morning. It was very relaxing. The main house frequently had guests such as neighbors and there were lots of laughters. Ueli cooked delicious dinners and I was happy to taste this and that cheese in the sauce etc., and learn about what makes great cheese.
Work was primarily weeding and painting, and it basically started whenever I woke up. There was generally a lot of flexibility.
One of the days Shirley took me to her hometown where her parents' then-house is located and it was nice to hear the little history of the town and how it changed/ unchanged overtime. I also happened to get on a fire engine (at Shirley's workplace) for the first time in my life and got excited about all the gadgets like a little child.
All in all, I had a relaxing, secure place to stay and I thank them for all that which they have given me.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
